Regarding the 80% and 20% thing, 80% and 20% of what? What unit are we talking here? Is it calories, in which case you are still counting calories to know what your 80/20 number is. Or is it the number of items you eat, such as tomatoes, carrots, beets, etc.? How do you calculate that? I see both sides of the argument but…

She's definitely more toned than what we normally see labeled as hot or fit. Now had she not had any muscle tone, then yeah, I'd say she needs to eat a sandwich or two. I, too, have heard the same, that 7-8 hours is optimal. I was watching Ricki Lake last week and a lady was on there talking about weight loss after age 30. She said the key is the 3 S's, sugar, stress, and sleep. Reduce your sugar intake (non-natural sources), reduce stress, and get more sleep. The sugars were the desserts…
