I'm with you. Back to square one. 25 pounds to drop here.

You're right. I think tomorrow I will face reality and weigh myself. May just be the motivation I need.

Mines not working today all of the sudden either.

Yes. It can be used as a watch and would work out fine for what you do. It monitors heart rate so it works no matter what type of activity you are doing. I love mine!

I got a heartrate monitor for Christmas and in comparison to the treadmill it's pretty close only when I enter my weight on the treadmill as about 10 pound lighter than I really am. I've always found that MFP over estimates calories burned.

Cardio can build muscle. Have you ever seen the leg muscles on some runners? I don't do much if any weights and I can feel my abs and leg muscles getting toned from running.

I don't count veggies and I'm losing just fine. I saw Bob Harper on a show recently and he especially emphasized eating as many green veggies as you want. I figure no one gets fat from eating too many carrots or broccoli.

I think it's about 2 oz. I tend to count it as 3-4 TBSP

Give your scale to someone and have them hide it from you and only let you have it once a week or every 2 weeks. If you don't have access to it you won't be tempted by it.

When they take the pic stick your head forward a little. It works miracles.

During the week I have a Special K double chocolate protein bar for breakfast. It's pretty filling. 170 calories and 10 grams of protein.

I have a weight watches scale I bought at Target. It was somewhere between $20-25. It seems to be pretty accurate. In fact I weighed myself this morning and also had a dr. appointment and it was the same as the dr. scale.

6.5-8 depending on how much my husband's snoring wakes me up or how often one of my kids end up in my room.

I think a lot of it is the quality of food your eating. Eating an extra 600-800 calories in cupcakes vs. fruits and whole grains is obviously not the best idea. Why not start by adding and extra 300 calories and go from there.
-
From what I've read it's not good to go under 1200 cal/day. At some point your body will go into starvation mode and hang onto the weight. I would say if you are finding yourself with 100 or 200 cals left at the end of the day have some toast, fruit, or something to get you to the 1200 mark. Good luck to you!

Special K Double Chocolate. I eat one for breakfast a lot when I don't have time to eat in the morning. Very filling!

Sounds delicious! Thanks!

Thanks for all the replies! When I weigh myself on the Wii board I put it on our hardwood floor. I think I'll just appreciate numbers going down regardless of which scale I use.

Yeah, I do have some weights at home. I'll try that. I'm thinking the Wii Fit isn't overly accurate.
