Yeah, I'll pass on that one!

One thing that I would consider is what caused the gain to start with? Can you explain it or do you have no clue what happened? If the former then you can make a game plan pretty well but if it is the latter then you might need to schedule a doctor's visit. If all is well then I agree that 0.5 to 1.0 lbs a week is more…

This should be published in a health magazine or something! Really it has so much potential to help so many people! This is why you truly are on of my MFP heros! *hugs*

Congratulations! You have done an amazing job!

Keep up the cal burn, keep a small deficit but not a crazy one and keep your protein intake high. The main problem is that for the most part you don't build muscle on a deficit which is why body builders do bulking phases and fat loss phases. You might have to do something similar. The more muscle mass you have, the more…

Way to go!

You are a wonderful father and you have an amazing family. You are all so lucky to have each other!

I have to wait to read this until I get home from work but I am so tempted to read it now...call this a bump.

How long is it supposed to be down for?

The road!

I'm glad that you got that recognition from your pal. He was right about a noticeable change and also about the tiny pics we get on here. Have you looked at a side by side of the new one and your first one?

My thoughts are you and your family. I think that you made the right choice to tell her what the doctors are telling you. Enjoy the time that you have with here now. I asked my head instructor if we could start our adult belt test today (which was the first test of the day) with a moment of silence for all the tragedy that…

I am an ugly Christmas sweat in my Christmas socks instead of a santa hat! :D

Sugar ants...I wouldn't hurt a fly, I take spiders outside but I go terminator on sugar ants!

Try eating back at least half back but start adding them in gradually. Maybe eat 10% or 20% back for a week or so and then work your way up to at least 50% oooooor slowly increase your calorie goal/intake by 50 to 100 cals (a day) for a week at a time...1800 this week, 1850 or 1900 next week...and don't eat back the…

A clone, so that I actually could get everything done in one day!

Another thing that you might want to try before going to the laser is dry skin brushing. http://www.livestrong.com/article/184493-how-to-dry-brush-your-skin/ It's more time consuming but doesn't hurt at all and a lot cheaper, I'm sure. :D

We all have our body parts that we don't like. Maybe try distance running or pilates or yoga...anything that will lengthen the muscles.

Do you have kids?

I'm getting much closer. We'll see where the next 9 lbs take me.

Deleted or not, I learn so much from you! lol

For me the main thing is to just stay calm about it and I don't really mix things up much when I hit a plateau. I just keep doing what I'm doing and I try to keep in mind that I have just lost over 15% of my body weight in a short amount of time and maybe my body just needs a little time to adjust to this new weight before…

Awesome!

Yes, put it behind you. Stressing doesn't undo anything and honestly if you have been eating too little then this was probably a good thing. That's just my opinion though.
-
Thanks you guys! :D

Hahaha, that's cute! I love it!

I am in a virtual race group on a fitocracy.com. They post race challenges where you do your run on own and input the time info on a spreadsheet. It's kind of fun! :D

Maybe try to get him to drink something like boost or slimfast (meal replacement) drinks as a snack in addition to what he is already eating. Also, try cooking with olive oil and adding nuts and other healthy fats to his diet. Clif mojo bars are great too.

Great job! A lot to be proud of!

There are tons of yoga workouts on youtube but you will get so much more out of it if you can find a friend or somebody to help you and give you feed back. You need to know what the poses should feel like.
