  • So I once again Shredded before work, I was pretty distracted because of some work stuff I was thinking about, and I didn't manage the last abs move, that plank/twist/torture move, ah well, I did most of the moves. For me, today was Level 2, Day 4, day 14 overall. Have a great day!
  • I think after I finish Shred, I am going back to the C25K plan, and do another 30 minutes video 3 days a week, or weights or something. I really am liking how toned I'm feeling! I want to keep this up, well and lose weight too!
  • I got my Shred done this AM, I am back to loving the before work, workouts! Today was Level 2, Day 3 for me (13/30). It went by really fast. I'm still using 3# weights, and doing most of the moved in the modified way. I try to do the Plank Hops and Plank Jacks in the regular way for the first 10 then I do a few modified,…
  • Great job everyone! I wish I was half way through, but honestly I feel like my body needed the break, and it was the right thing to do.
  • Way to go kducky!!!! That is awesome!!! I can tell in the mirror too. And I'm glad I took pictures too. I took them on day 2, day 11, and I'm looking forward to taking them around day 20 and then 30! I wish I would've taken measurements, but I just didn't want to. The pictures were enough for me. I haven't lost weight, but…

  • I love how I ask questions, then answer them myself, haha. Kind of feel like I'm talking to myself. I Shredded this morning. (After 3 days off  ) But I did run a 5K this weekend, then I needed a break! Today was Level 2, Day 2 for me. It felt good. Although I wish I hadn't taken the 3 day break, it feels good to be…
  • I was planning on taking today off, but I took the weekend off, so I'm going to see if I can get back on track tonight. Ugh! I found my HR monitor, so I'm excited to use that and see how many calories I burn.
  • I have to admit I took the whole weekend off, 5K on Saturday, then sore on Sunday. Also today I didn't get up and Shred, Mondays are the toughest for me, and my evening is all booked up! I promise I'll get back on track tomorrow.
  • I'm here, I took yesterday off because I I did a 5k, and I am sore today.
  • I've been thinking about what to do next, as I really enjoy working out in the morning, and the support from this group. I have JM 6 weeks to a 6 pack, but after thinking about it, I need to lean out more first. I was thinking about getting her DVD No More Trouble Zones, or something like that. I think it's longer, but…
  • Sorry about your pain. Best to take care of your body and not overdo it. Keep active in the way that is best for you. You'll just have to be extra careful with your diet, as Abs are Made in the Kitchen :)
  • I was laying in bed struggling to decide if I was going to exercise first thing (as I know I should) or wait until later. Well I bit the bullet and did Level 2! Day One Complete! Boom! I went back to 3# weights, until I feel comfortable with all the new moves, which was a very good idea for me. I also am wearing my knee…
  • Without your support I wouldn't have stuck with this. Day 10 done! On to Level 2 tomorrow, have a great night :)
  • Fantastic job michlou! I am sad that I didn't get up and workout this morning, and I'm not sure when I'm going to fit it in. I have a very busy day and weekend planned. I knew I was going to have trouble this morning as I had a friend over and we took our dogs for a walk, then we finished the evening by sharing a bottle of…
  • Great job!! And you're still breathing to tell the tale
  • Great job to the Level 1 Finishers! All pushups on toes!!!! Cool!!!! I too am noticing an overall firmness, that I didn't think would be possible in just 9 workouts! I didn't take measurements, but I took a few pictures and also know how I'm feeling, and I like it
  • I'm going for the 30 days straight, just sort of a jump start. But I totally agree to listen to your body, if you need a day off, take it!
  • I did, I did  So glad to get this over for the day. I also have to say The Doctor's Diet seems to be working too! Finally dropped the 2# that I had gained last week. Feeling very much on track, also feeling a little tighter in my arms and upper abs, yeah. Really looking forward to Friday for Level 2. Have a great…
  • So here is a legit reply. I have read the book (from the library) and I liked it. I started yesterday and am doing well. Going to give it a go for a month or at least until it's due. If I can make it that long, I'll buy the book, or write down the important stuff. Let me know if you decide to do it, and we can buddy up and…
  • I agree ErinMcMom, I'm getting sick of Level 1 also! Ugh! I'm not really a video person, but it's so convenient but without this group, I would be bored out of my mind, you all keep me accountable. Just Dance is a ton of fun! My nieces have it, and I like doing it with a group, but I don't know if I'd like it by myself.
  • Good for you! Congrats on doing the workout without stopping. I sometimes have to take a little rest myself.
  • Good for you! I have gained 2# so I wanted to throw my scale out the window. I'm thinking it was water weight from TOM, plus I've been eating way too much. So yesterday I started back on strict calorie count and following The Doctor's Diet by Travis Stork. I am enjoying eating the healthy food. I also am implementing…
  • I'm happy to report, I did my workout before work, and I feel fantastic! I don't know what it is, but I guess I'm just a morning exercise person. I treated myself to iced coffee and a wake up wrap from dunkin donuts, they were both fantastic! The wake up wrap with ham only has about 170 cals, so I always feel like I'm…
  • I finished my workout after work but before dinner as promised! Let me tell you, that was brutal, I was so tired, the workout totally dragged. And I'm sick of this round, bring on Level 2! I think I remember from before that I liked Level 2 the best. Just ready for a change I guess. I'm also quite disappointed that I still…
  • I'm loving this group too! In fact so much, I've already been thinking about what we'll do on May 1st? I'm thinking 6 weeks to a 6 pack?
  • That's obviously how I feel too pistachiopeas. If you remember the meal, and savored it, and enjoyed every bite, and were surrounded by friends and or family, it was worth it. Of course that kind of meal can't happen every day!
  • Only 95 calories over is WONDERFUL!!! Way to go. I love crème brulee and the whole menu sounds wonderful. I would have a tough time controlling the wine, it's my favorite. We had a celebration anniversary dinner with my in-laws on Friday at a local restaurants Chef's table, 5 courses with wine pairings! It's probably…
  • I think the biggest thing is don't get discouraged! Just get back on track, and don't let it get you down. Before when I started on my own, and I'd fall off the wagon, I'd just say "screw it" and give up. Just don't give up! You can do it!
  • If it was me, I'd probably just add days at the end, but it's up to you. I think either would be fine.
