Oh, yeah. I drink it black. The only adverse effect I've noticed is that it makes it harder to get a good steady hold with my pistol (trembles just a slight bit). Otherwise, its all good.

Only drug I abuse. You'll have to pry my coffee mug from my cold, dead fingers!!

Maybe alternate days walking/running with biking? I'm at a plateau, myself, so I'm mixing up walking, cross-country hiking, and biking. Did a cross-country hike this morning and was back down to my lowest weight. Maybe your plateau has you "firming up" and gaining muscle rather than losing weight. Don't be discouraged.

Try diffferent fruits; apples have slow release carbs that don't seem to impact my blood glucose levels; likewise blueberries, strawberries. Quick release sugar/carbs include watermelon, grapes and bananas. I've got Type 2 diabetes, so I watch the carbs/sugars carefully. As such, I rarely go over my target goals and with…

Add me, as you wish.

Your joints need some recover time. I wrecked my knees with 24 years of daily jogging/running. Why not alternate running with vigorous walking or biking? Still provide cardiovascular exercise while easing up on joint stress.

Cherry pie and a damn fine cup of joe.

Wowzers! 100 lbs is quite a goal. Be sure to check with a doctor before going that far. Honestly, you don't look 100 lbs over weight. Start with achievable goals, maybe 20 lbs and regular exercise. Even a vigorous walk 5 days a week will show benefits. Friend me, if you wish.

I'm limiting carbs because of a recent diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. I think exercise and good food portion control are probably more important than limiting any specific food type.

I'm 62. I may look more like 55. My avatar is not a self-portrait.

Find an activity you can tolerate, that you'll be able to accomplish on a regular basis. If crossfit works for you, fine. I doubt that I'd care for it. I don't like group activities, so I prefer to work solo.

Well, yeah!!! Look at the amazing progress you're achieved. Well done!!!

Go ahead, friend me.

Depends on the woman.

Power walk/death march -- minimum of 3 miles at a 4 mph pace. Much easier on my 62 year old knees than jogging.

#1 -- dump the chips in the trash, keep junk food out of the house; #2 -- stuff happens, everyone (me included) goes off the healthy food wagon; #3 -- tomorrow is another day, add some time to your workout to burn the evil food cooties out of your system. FOR GOSH SAKES DON'T QUIT!! This is a minor glitch.

I recall that sand turns to glass with an appropriate application of heat.

Did another 51 minutes this morning. Have an HRM/GPS unit on order to better measure distance, etc. Probably plus/minus 3 miles, but I haven't measured it. :ohwell:
