I started this journey for my health. Nothing like going to the doctor sick, finding out you have pneumonia, scary high blood pressure, your heart is not healthy and your pre diabetic. It was a wake up call to get the weight off. I will keep working at it and I will get healthy

I've been making lots of soups, my fav right now is roasted red pepper and jalapeno soup. Its easy and low calorie. I add no cream, so its only broth, roasted veggies and pureed until creamy smooth. I top with a little goat cheese and it hits the spot.

We had to put my almost 9 year old pup down on Saturday so I seriously want to eat my feelings. So far I am controlling it but it is hard. Just a really hard week.

Day 5 was great, with over 15,000 steps, day 6 and 7 were not good. Back on track now!
