I am okay as long as I'm not sitting at home. If I'm out and about I can better control myself. If I'm at home with nothing else to do, I eat everything in the house. BOREDOM!!!! I try to build extra room into my budget during the week if I know I will be at home.

I brew my own beer, so I have beer on tap at all times. I am also a member of a local bottle shop's "beer of the month" - so I get at least 4 commercial brews every month. On top of that, all my friends are brewers, so I have their beer too. This is why I need to lose 20lbs...

I try to do this, but there are so many results with varying counts its hard to determine what is right. I've started going to the same places all the time so that I know each time what I am eating.

"...just go ham." That is appropriate considering our conversation! :D

How is one supposed to accurately determine their activity level? I have a desk job, and MFP is set to sedentary, but I also run 3 times a week. Does this change my activity level? Does it through off my numbers if I don't adjust MFP up a notch?

I go to the one on Glenwood. Usually on Mon, Wed, and Fri. Holla at me if you go to this one.

I brew my own beer, and the idea that I can't run out to the keg and draw a pint whenever I want kills me. I found this website which breaks down an approximate amount of calories by ABV - even down to the ounce! This is huge since my home brewed beer doesn't come with a calorie count.

Anyone have any idea how to calculate calorie burn for the Scientific 7-Minute Workout (the one from the NY Times)?

I have my Fitbit Flex synched to MFP. MFP adjusts my available calories based on my activity. I usually try to ignore "extra" earned calorie points because I am not sure I trust the math used to come up with them. I am happy with the setup, though.
