TOOL and Linkin Park when I am angry. A Perfect Circle and Snow Patrol when I am stuck in my head. Taylor Swift and Pink when I am feeling girly... But I can never turn off GNR..Axl was so hot when he was a strung out dirty rocker....but to look at him now...I get sad :(

Well said!

EXACTLY!!!! What others put down does not effect me and they are only accountable to themselves in the end so who am I to question what other do?

Hey Toots! I am planting my 2nd veggie garden this year in the D/FW. Last year I had great success with zuccini, bell peppers and cukes. I got some production last year from tomatoes and watermelon, but I think I planted too late for big crops (May?) Totally look up the square foot garden stuff, the sooner the better. We…

I also LOVE to coupon!!! I am a Hip2Save.com follower as well as the coupon printing site (red plum, coupons.com etc.)...but want to check out these other sites now. Can never have too many money saving tips/leads!

I will be thinking of you and your family. Thank you for all the encouragement and kind words. As everyone said before they do mean so much.

I will be putting new tile floors in my house! I bought a fixer-upper a couple years ago...and have needed new floors from day one. Last year I bought a new AC/heater, this year is floors. Found out this morning it is being delayed yet another week :( I was put in the group that had to wait until 2/14 to submit so I am not…

I am a single mom of 3. A 14 year old girl, a 10 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. They absolutely are my life. And even though we have our challanges (the "teens", ADHD and severe independence hahaha) if we say "I love you" at bed time I know we are doing good!

Still funny after all this time!!! Love it! Thanks:laugh:

Belly dancing...in one of those hot *kitten* outfits that make all the noise....hahaha

I haven't done any of these but I have some of the other biggest loser workouts...they are a workout for beginners but totally doable. After a few times you will notice they get easier. :)

Wow!!! Wonderful progress!!!

I'm game! I'll PM my facebook info...

I have the "game" and just tried out different activites and had no problems. Maybe I will try the three week program. I heard some have to "reset" the periphrials and that it work fine again. Anybody know how accurate their calorie count is?

OMG! You are so not alone...I have often thought/lived through exactly what you wrote about...time and time again.
-
Heck yeah!!! I am just giddy!

BoomBoom - You crack me up!!! My ex-boyfriend actually did wear his HRM once...he was a competitive cyclist and didn't need to lose an once so I admit I thought it was a bit ODD. But should I ever be so lucky to partake in this aerobic activity again  I just might strap it on

Yay!!! That is a wonderful feeling!!! Well done!

The best representaion is first thing in the morning, naked, after "watering the flowers" as you put it. I have done a similar experiment though I don't remember the results. But I also (often) weigh at bedtime and then first thing in the morning...curious about how sodium/water consumption effects things. I often see a 3…

Great minds!

Maybe marinate them and cook with picante sauce with a little shredded 2% Kraft Sharp Cheddar, a mexican rice (brown if possible) and seasoned roasted veggies. I can't take credit...I think I saw it on the back of the cheese packet  Looks yummy but haven't gotten around to trying it yet. edited for spelling ;)

You make a brilliant point about the older posts! I personally don't understand the point of getting worked up because of duplicate posts...it doesn't affect me personally since we are free to choose what to read/respond and what not to, so it just seems like wasted energy to me. It is what it is, it won't change, this…

I have done both WW points and calorie counting. The problem I had with the points is it isn't just straightforward...this many calories is this many points, instead you also have to figure in the fat and fiber to get the point value. And if you make unwise choices you can go over points and still not reach 1200 calories…

Actually I thought about this some more....I kinda remember a time or two I did something weird and somehow managed to hit the pause button without even noticing until the end of my workout...it was still tracking the HR but not the length of workout or calories burned. Maybe something to think about...

Well my three suggestions would be that the sensors were not wet enough, maybe there was not full contact with your skin, like if your bra moved it or maybe when entering your details something is off. I have the same HRM and have never had a number that low,...so you are right to suspect that something isn't right...good…

I am usually 2 - 3 pounds heavier at bedtime, but I drink water up till that time :) But I also can tell the difference when I don't drink as much. I tend to drink less water on the weekends since my day is less structured, I changed my weigh-in day from Monday to Wednesday...I like to tell myself that is a more "accurate"…
