I also recommend getting an HRM. I've only done Zumba twice. The first time I burned about 400 calories and the second time I barely hit 200 calories... doing the exact same DVD. You just really have no idea unless you use a monitor.

I started adding cottage cheese to my eggs last week. I eat 1 egg, 1/8 cup cottage cheese, and some diced peppers and onions. It's so filling!
