I do not have a sports doctor or a physiotherapists in my area so went to orthopaedic doctor.

I did see an orthopaedic doctor and he said it must be calcium deficiency and gave me calcium as well as vitamin D tablet. I want to strengthen those parta now through exercise. Which exercise is suitable for it

yep I did and I think that is the problem where I can relate with. Eating at deficit. thanks for the link . Now since treadmill is ruled out of my exercise regime for some time, I guess the only option lefy is strength training

The Dr asked me to do low impact exercise due to knee pain and he said that knee pain is caused due to over exercise on treadmill which in turn led to reduce bone density

just wanted to ask you which medication are you following at present? or is it that going ompletely medication free and following low carb diet helping you out? how did your doctor figure out that metformin is not working out for you?

yep i decided to go the med route since my doctor strongly adviced me to have metformin for atleast 3 months. i tried without meds for 2 years but alas no result so thought this to be the only way left for me my doc did not advice me anything related to my carbs intake
