I just officially past the one year mark and am returning to MFP with hat in hand. I was doing GREAT...until about 3 years ago...I've since packed back on 30+ lbs and am kicking myself in the rear. BUT...I'm ready to hit it again with you ladies. I am heading back for my first Aqua Zumba class tomorrow afternoon. I was a…

12 oz of a protein shake containing: low cal juice, almond milk, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, peaches or pinapple (strained), whey protein powder, greek yogurt and spinach. In the master batch, I put 8 oz of each (spinach 4 - 8) into the blender and mix. In the morning, I will give it a quick blend and pour. It will…

That I wasn't able to talk myself out of Zumba this evening.

May I suggest an exorcism? I personally refuse to look at the scale. The difference I note is how my clothes fit. Buying a smaller size is much more satisfying. ...Of course, I have to keep repeating this mantra in order to keep holy water in stock....

I add plain Greek yogurt to my morning shake. It also includes almond milk. A large glass of it will keep me full almost until lunch.

Most definitely! Build up your muscles is like getting a lift! I've gone from a 38DDDD to a 32DDD. Don't laugh...I'm happy they're getting 'smaller'. I've breast fed 2 so the slight deflation is definitely there but at least they're not pointing down...yet.) I have definitely seen a difference since I started lifting…

OK! I'm an admitted bar holder! My trainer has me on a 7 degree incline at 3.7 to strengthen some of those 'little' muscles in front of my legs. If I don't hold on, I'm a goner! (Oh yeah, they hurt like a B!&$@ the day after.) Also, I have the inate talent of being an absolute klutz. Don't hate me because I'm blessed.…

Yep, "evil" boyfriends/fiance/husbands! DAMN them! I have been battling mine for almost 25 years. He is a FABULOUS cook and makes everything exactly how I like it. How could he be so cruel?! :grumble: However, after almost a quarter of a century (GOD that sounds long), I have learned to ask him WHAT spectacular meal he is…

Regular additions: Almond milk, low cal fruit juice, frozen strawberries & blueberries. I change up the acidity by switching between peaches and pineapples. This has been my breakfast for over a year...on most days!

Munchies? NAH! I have full out "tear through the pantry" food trips. Chips, followed by chocolate and washed down with a coke. Lord help me if I'm near a fast food joint. Bloating? Hell yes. I can see and FEEL (ladies you know what I'm talking about) the swelling of 'particular' areas of my anatomy. Mother Nature is a…

Being a person who likes to 'go it alone', I have found my friends to be a great source of help...especially when I am not in to mood to work out in the evening. ...Peer pressure has never been so noble!

She is wrong. The only thing that stops you reaching ANY goal is you. ...Oh yeah, menopause can throw in a few monkey wrenches. Makes things HARDER but NOT impossible. Your body does change with age and experience, but it can be for the better. ...An experienced, older, fighting her *kitten* of against Mother Nature, mom.

I agree with the majority. You were fine in the first picture, too skinny in the second and a bit better in the final. You need to tell the BF to shut the **** up or dump him. If you want to feel better, lift some weights. Nothing more formidable than a strong and confident female. You are a beautiful woman. Don't let…

Definitely morning. I can't talk myself out of it. I have one evening class and it is always a battle of wills to make myself go.

Le Mystere 310. I'm a 34DD. The fit is snug but it keeps my boys in place. Also, they are $$. I find mine on eBay... :)

Le Mystere 320 sports bra. I am a 34 DDD. I do can do jumping jacks, RIPPED and Zumba in it and the boys stay in place! There are 3 hooks and it has a light lining...In case it gets cold in the gym...if you get my drift. I have 4 of them as I work out 6+ times a week. The fit is a bit tighter around the ribs. The cup size…

Like the others, I agree wholeheartedly. The scale goes up and down the same 4 lbs but my clothes keep getting bigger.

As a working mom with 2 boys, my alarm goes off at 4 am M-F. I can get in about 90-120 minutes per day. I also take night classes after dinner and homework a couple of times a week. On the weekend, I have back to back classes on Saturday morning. I'm usually home before my family is even awake! My crazy schedule has been…
