  • I don't belong to a gym and do my treadmill while watching TV or my family has a Wii. It is rather expensive to get all the equipment, but we enjoy doing it and encourage each other with it! Good luck!
  •  You are right!!! It is the little things!!! Good for you. Sometimes we need to recognize the baby steps we take in order to keep motivated. Thanks for sharing!
  • This sounds yummy. I think I will try it!!!
  • I'm still fairly new to this mfp site and haven't seen anything like that. But Boy would I like to be in on one. Accountability makes me pay a whole lot more attention to what I am doing! If there is a team or group like this, I would LOVE to be a part of it!!!!
  • One thing I learned from WW and have "tried" to stick to it but it is hard, is to not make things center around food. Ya know like when you have friends over, you worry about what to "feed" them, instead concentrate your efforts on fun, games, movies, whatever. Reward different achievements with stuff other than food!!! I…
  • I have no clue when the stop! If only we had these answers!!! My sister is 10 years older than I am and still has night sweats....I am going to be 48 next month. That is not really very encouraging at this point......
  • :flowerforyou: Welcome! I am fairly new too but you will love it!!! Everyone seems so friendly and eager to help each other out! It is great! Have fun and don't be afraid to ask!!!!
  • Hi there! I'm 47 and have the same issues. I do believe and have been told by my doctor that it is in deed premenopause! YUCK!!! There are times when I feel like I'm going to start anytime, and then it takes it a week to get here. Then there are other times just out of the blue! The length between times is extremely…
  • Do you by chance remember the brand. We don't have a cosco out where I live only Wal-Mart and Safeway. I might be able to find them!!!
  • Best of Luck! I have never been a smoker but my husband is. I have seen him try to quite and know it is really a rough go. Keep your mind on your goal and you will be successful. Reward your small achievements with something else that you really want!!! :) Your plan of attack sounds reasonable.
  • I have a digital Health-O-Meter that I really like as well!
  • This really sounds yummy! I feel guilty, I am getting all these cool ideas, and don't have anything to offer! I must be really boring!
  • Like this twist on the recipe as well! Thanks
  • This sound great! I am going to try it for dinner this week!!! Thanks!
  • Okay....so last night I tried the Boxing part of the Wii Fit. (My kids were no where to be found to laugh at me!!!) It was actually a lot of fun! I began to get the hang of it by the time I was done!
  • Hi all! I am new to mfp, and have a Wii Fit! My 13 year old actually talked my husband and I into it. I have begun a routine of getting on it every night. I walk on our treadmill in the morning and do Wii Fit at night for about 30 min. Usually yoga, strength, and advanced step! I have done the hula part a little. I haven't…
  • Welcome!!! I am new too!!! Just started a couple of days ago. This seems to be a really easy plan to follow and is a really friendly environment. I know everyone will be behind you in your journey. I am really enjoying the message boards so far. You can get a lot of great ideas from them!
  • Did I stay within my nutritional goals? YEP!!! Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? YEP!!! What did I do yesterday that aI am proud of? Completed both of my workouts (morning and night) and charted everything!! What would I have done differently? Check my calorie count a little more before eating some of the…
  • How creative is that?? Way cool! You are an inspiration to us all!
  • New attitude 2009: First off I LOVE YOUR USER NAME!!!! That is so appropriate and encompasses everything that I am about at this point in my life!!!! As far as soda goes....I could take it or leave it really. If I do drink it, I prefer Diet Coke or Diet Dr Pepper. I just have never cared too much for the sweet taste of…
  • Hi! Well, I can tell you what my doctor told me! I had been on WW for quite a while and had lost about 30 pounds. I then went on maintenance, and I had a horrible galbladder attack. My dr. said it was because my body was so used to eating "good" food, that when I did eat something greasy, (the worst was with pizza), that…
  • Way to go! That is an inspiration to me! As Self Control seems to be my biggest issue! Knowing that other people are batteling the same fight and winning is an encouragement to me! Thanks for sharing!
  • So....I never used to watch this until I visited my mom during the 2008 series. OH My!!! Did I get hooked. Last season I didn't miss a show. I even record them to watch later. So as far as this season goes.....there are a lot of names I don't recognize on the Stars list. We will just have to see how it plays out! Being a…
  • I love to walk. I just set up my treadmill so I can watch the morning news while I walk. I get up and do that in the morning, then I plan to work out on our Family's WII FIT each night. It is a lot of fun and gives you a lot of different things to build strength and tone. I especially like the step aerobics! Have fun!
