Hello everyone. I would like to get everyones opinion on what they have found to be the most affective exercise. I am doing a kick boxing class 3 times a week and love it!! I just need to find something that will get me results on the days I am not doing the class. Thanks!

Running. Or jogging if you're not up to running yet. The results are awesome and fast!!!

Running, swimming or if you have access to an elliptical machine.

    Also, how about using weights?

Im doing P90X and finished Turbo Jam. Turbo Jam is kickboxing and cardio at the same time. Lost a lot of inches doing that.

I'm built like a dumptruck - jogging/running sux for me. I use an elliptical very comfortably 1/2 hour a morning, and I also do a strength/mass program with freeweights 3x a week.

Planning to do P90X this winter,,, working toward it now. Just wanna be a little lighter and a little stronger.

I think Zumba or dancing is the best. I have the most fun and it burns around 700 calories for me per hour (147 pound female) which is quite a bit. The dancing calories in the exercise calculator here doesn't quite match up, so as always use a heart rate monitor. Even if you just turn up the music in your living room and dance for 10 minutes like a fool, it's fun and really good for cals!
  • I love to walk. I just set up my treadmill so I can watch the morning news while I walk. I get up and do that in the morning, then I plan to work out on our Family's WII FIT each night. It is a lot of fun and gives you a lot of different things to build strength and tone. I especially like the step aerobics! Have fun!

    Go Angel

I do the same thing with my elliptical. Morning news, maybe a little beverage. You're killing 1/2 hour anyways,,,
