I don't ....BUT if excess sodium will cause water retention, and possibly weight gain before a weigh in, does it stand to reason that I carry that extra weight all the time due to always eating a lot of sodium? I just calculated my BMR on three different sites and got three very different results: 1490, 1546, 1899!! I legitimatally have an over eating problem, cant avoid junk food, never have...I've done vegan, and I still ate junk food and didn't lose any weight...I've done gluten free, found gluten free chips and gluten free everything else, and continued to eat…

Its kind of a funny story about my goal weight... When I was 15, getting my driving permit, they asked my weight, and I was too embarrassed to tell the truth, so I fibbed and told them 135. I don't know how much I weighed then, probably 150ish. So, that has always been my goal, and I have never gotten there...I think 135…

I have been doing it since the end of last year, usually consistent for a few weeks and then think I can keep track in my head but eventually start gaining when I do that, so I get back on it... I think what you thinking is right, I need to be consistent and see where that takes me...just wondering if maybe my goal…

Thanks! And no, I don't have a scale....I already feel pretty crazy taking the bun off my Arby's roast beef, and counting chips out of the bag to eat with my guac...I'm not going to get a scale...but I will try to watch my portions more closely :)

Ill be 30 this week...5'6" and 165....yes, that is how I understood NET...I have been thinking lately to just eat 1300 and burn as much as I can without eating it back...or this other school of thought of eating more...eating more sounds like more fun! Just can't believe it would get me to my goal

Thanks :) The video was a little long for my ADD tho...lol I am almost wondering if I should up my caloric intake, but I just can't wrap my head around that idea...I think its more likely that I am actually consuming more than I realize and that is keeping the weight on, rather than the idea that I need to eat more...

Ive done vegan, gluten free (at the same time) before and didn't have that problem...no, seriously, I did....but I do love to cook, so maybe that's the difference...I made some killer black bean and sweet potato enchiladas....and lots of other great stuff, didn't even lose weight....

I had a roasted beet and goat cheese bruschetta once...the only time I ever remember liking beets, and they were absolutely delicious...full disclosure, I LOVE goat cheese....

I bought Oxygen's 15 minutes workouts, and it has a bunch of short strength training, low resistance workouts that I really like. Probably not all the exercises will work for you, but I am sure you would find a lot that do...I think it cost $10...and I also need a motivational friend :)

Yes, that support is exactly what I need! My parents love to indulge in food and alcohol (prob how I caught these habits!) and my husband swears I just need to think about it less and just eat smaller portions. Feeling so frustrated today! So glad I came here!
