me too - things have really slipped over the past two weeks due to events beyond my control so need to get a grip again!

Well the end of week one and I have lost 1lb. Quite pleased with that as the diet has been better but not perfect - staying just within my cals but could have made better choices. Just had a naughty cake :ohwell: so I'm off out with the dog to try to get rid of at least half of it with a good long walk.

Thank you for2day for a great list - I had no idea!
-
Good idea - I'll chill the wine!

Well its day 3 and I feel loads better. Have stuck to the cals and done some exercise every day - in fact I'm just back from the first 5km run in ages. It was hard and I walked for 30 secs a couple of times to get my breath back but I did it in just over 30 mins. To think that I hadn't run for so long and was still capable…

I'm in too I need to get back into running - I walk the dog for about 3 miles a day but need to run too!

I'm starting again today. I want to lose 5lbs (or more!) in April to get me back to my lowest weight again. I am teacher and on holiday from work for 2 weeks so I have no excuse for being lazy or badly prepared.:embarassed: Just been for a very brisk 35 min walk with the dog to start the day. Am off out for brunch with…

Hi, I'm in too. I only have about 5 lbs to lose to get back to my lowest weight and just need a kick up the bum to get on with it. SW:159 CW: 138 GW for April: 133 UGW: 130-133, will see how it feels How am I going to do this...... 1.Restart the running (got up to a comfortable 6km and then winter struck) 2.Swim at least…

I'm with you! I'm a veggie (not vegan though, far too tough!) I got down to 133lbs (9st 7 lbs) around November time and then came Christmas, a new term at school (I'm a teacher). bad weather and absolutely tons of work. On came 5 lbs. I'm not happy and have decided to get back on the wagon. I've been good today and done…

Because I've decided to get back on the wagon - Today!

I'm in exactly the same situation - have completely given up over the past 2 or 3 weeks if I'm honest with myself. I feel flabby and sluggish and I haven't weighed because I don't want to know the damage. I first blamed it on PMS and gave myself a week off as I felt so rubbish but it carried on. I feel better when I…

I actually enjoy shopping now - knowing that a UK 10 will fit. And the exercise has changed the way I live - I look forward to it now, who'd have thoght it!

Just turned 41 and not thrilled about it!

I'm in for 100 km in January - running and walking the dog.
-
Just a quick update - after a good day eating 1280 cals and doing a 5k run and a 60 min walk with the dog I woke up feeling less bloated and so had another sneaky weigh in - and I'm down 1lb! I know its only water weight after the sodium laden rubbish I've been eating but its encouragement to carry on.  Hope…

Good to see I'm not alone! The more the merrier (without the beers - lol!) I feel much calmer strangely, knowing that I'm back in control.

I. am another one that has wobbled recently and need to get back on the straight and narrow. I lost 26 lbs and was at my target weight of 133 lbs and December has been a nightmare for both food and exercise. my dog has been ill and so that's been at least an hour of activity a day gone and Christmas has taken its toll. I'm…

Good luck!

Originally South Wales but been in Manchester for 15 years - feel free to add me !

I'm not a fan of the gym and have lost my weight through swimming, jogging and walking and trying to stick to the cal allowance. Anything that gets you moving will work - swimming is especially good if you have quite a bit of weight to lose as its non-weight bearing and you can make it as vigourous as you like and no-one…

Haven't posted for a while but I have been keeping up with the challenge - now up to 75km out of a target of 100km
-
Now up to 58km from a target of 100km Will hopefully get up to 65 km tomorrow

Just updated my settings to now try to maintain my weight and it says to eat a net of 1720 cals a day. Thats 500 more than I have been aiming to eat - seems like a lot to me? Will give it a go this week and see what happens - I must admit it seems a bit scary though. I've been so used to fighting to limit myself that I'm…
-
Not really sure what to do about what happens next.... Does anyone have any advice?
-
You've already lost 53lbs!! That's loads! First of all give yourself a big pat on the back - thats a massive achievement! You see yourself differently to everyone else - we are all overly self critical - I bet others are noticing and maybe even a little bit jealous. Well done - you are an inspiration - keep going! xx
-
Not checked in much this week but have been keeping up with the walking/running. Now up to 43km out of 100km. Not bad - hope to get to 50 km tomorrow.
-
Shelly, mine doesn't work today so don't worry about the ticker. Just record your target and progress here. Have managed 7.1 km today in total. Time for a sit down! Now up to 24.6km with a 100 km goal.
-
Just done a 4.5 K run - first time in ages. Thought it would be really hard going but it was ok. Back to 5K next time. Also walked the dog around the houses so up to 5.5K so far today. Will do a bit more later with the dog so will probably be up to 7ish K today. Will update the ticker at the end of the day - just keeping…
