Painting - cals used?
Hi, I'm just about to start redecorating and would like to know how many cals are burned by painting walls with a roller? Seems pretty strenuous so it must burn something! Anyone know?

Back on the wagon today! No waiting for the New Year!
Right, after what has basically been a month of being useless at diet and exercise I've given myself a strict talking to and have decided that today is the day to get a grip again. I've been food shopping for plenty of fruit and vegetables, put what is left of the Xmas goodies in a carrier bag, taped it closed and put it…

Just been looking at the diary and I have 4 weeks to work before the Xmas school holidays and subsequently the Xmas food onslaught. So, with this in mind I have decided to make a 4 week effort to firm up and maybe lose a pound or two that can be gained back over the food fest. (I'm currently at target and want to still be…

Its entirely funded by donations and provides things like water therapy, reiki, massage etc for adults with disabilities -…

C25K week 4 triumph!
Just needed to tell someone that understands..... I did the week 4 run for the first time on Saturday struggled through but finished it. Did it again today and breezed through and felt like I could run for miles (I didn't of course!) I think I've finally found the pace that suits me and the slogging is paying off. Actually…
