you hopefully get past your awkward preteen days

drink lots of tea =] anytime i have an unnecessary craving and i really want to binge on chips or something silly, i make the effort of boiling water and putting the tea in the ball and all that and enjoying it; by the time that's all done, you're no longer craving and you just hydrated and had some healthy tea! getting to…

i'm gonna eat whatever i want on thanksgiving. it's a holiday. if i'm treating the efforts i've been making at the gym and in the kitchen as a lifestyle change, instead of a diet or quick fix, then i have to accept that holidays are a part of life, and the next day i'm gonna kill it at the gym. it also helps that i don't…

i'm 21. i quit buying stuff often from the juniors department years ago, but i confess that i still occasionally peruse that part of the store. usually the stuff is pretty hideous, haha, and so ridiculously tight and slutty (what preteen is allowed to wear some of those dresses?!?) i found a nice maxi dress several months…

why not? while overdoing exercise isn't good, if it makes her feel good, then lucky her! not to mention many people would love to have the time in their schedule to work out twice a day. i did it earlier this summer to sort of kick-start my weight loss.

i don't wash my hair everyday. i wash it after a workout mostly, but if i missed working out that day, then i definitely don't. and i would never, ever wash it twice in a day. i'll wash it, let it do its natural wavy thing, then straighten it the next day, for example. it hold style more easily when it's not freshly…

i'm 5'4", and my worst weight was 147. i never, ever, thought i was disgusting. maybe i didn't prefer bikini season, but i was blessed with confidence still. it was my mom who always reminded me how fat i was, and i totally resented her for that. it did NOTHING to motivate me. so calling yourself disgusting won't either.…

let's all just agree that we're happy that bacon isn't a carb =]

1000mg of vitamin C! helps fend off colds & such, and when my allergies act up, i take more, and it keeps my symptoms more manageable. i hate taking antihistamines. i also take a woman's multivitamin, calcium citrate every other day, and magnesium citrate.

that's why i use an umbrella in a storm. so that water doesn't rain down STRAIGHT TO MY THIGHS

the real question is how much ice do i consume to make up for the liquid i lost peeing myself laughing & reading this whole thread. and to the guy who suggested filling the air holes with whiskey...:drinker: no one has addressed how much to log if you catch snowflakes on your tongue...not like that's a texas problem...!

the app for iphone is great, like everyone has said. the app for ipad is even greater. idk if there is one for other tablets, but i love the ipad app!! i try and log in just as i would go to check my e-mail or something. personally, i feel something this important is worth my time more than perusing endless pages of…

my boyfriend doesn't like bacon or ice cream. i know. it's absurd. :grumble:
-
oh, and most of those frozen, sugary sweet, alcoholic drinks, like piña coladas. BLEH!
-
sour cream hot dogs doughnuts for breakfast...the idea of that much sugar in the morning is odd to me...but any other time of day, YUM. haha. orange juice with pulp...not like fruit juice is terrible for you, but it does have a lot of sugar whipped cream wings

i used to hate drinking water. i went thru a phase where i would only drink ice cold water, with actual ice cubes in it. if the ice melted, but it was still cold, i didn't want it. sounds silly! but try adding ice? definitely not a diuretic  make a goal to drink one or two glasses a day for a week or two, then up it…

my heaviest ever was 147. i started this time around at 143. goal is 125.

sometimes i plan for the following day. but a lot of my meals are the same, anyway. i'm always gonna have my coffee with creamer and stevia, for example. i prefer to log the food the day before; it helps me stick to it since it's already "written" down.

my boyfriend is kinda bad about it. i'm also quite the pushover. but we've discussed it a lot and he doesn't really do that anymore. so my advice is talk to the person...my bf didn't really understand that the things he did and said were unhelpful and now he's more supportive. and hopefully, he'll join me in the quest of…

my friend bought pedialyte specifically for that purpose! she had a mini fridge in her room by her bed and would try and remember to swallow some before bed and then pretty much constantly sipped on it once she woke up in the morning. i never tried it myself, but they say it works well. seems like gatorade would do the…

oh i definitely still log. even tho it can be totally embarrassing after a bad day! the support here is great!
-
i've never heard that, but i can totally understand why. i can't picture myself going 2 weeks of going off my diet, but easing up on exercise may be a plan. and i'm moving back to go to college again, so i'll get in some exercise from that packing, lifting, etc.
-
you guys are great :drinker:

i don't know if this answer can be topped....hahahaa  love it! i'll have to dance around to your new rendition of stop in the name of love!
-
i'm buying myself a new belly button ring when i get down below 130. not a huge thing, but still something to look forward to!
-
I congratulate myself for being over on protein, so long as my calories are within my goal and the other macros are reasonable. Gotta get strong!
-
how long have you been using birth control? at first, I was warned nearly everything that sucks could happen for a few months. I ate out of emotional stuff; I was a mess. A few years later, things have smoothed out

i fill my camelback bottle from my brita. the bottle is 750mL, or about 24oz. the spout connected to the straw is that rubbery "bite valve" and i think I like to chew on it, so I drink out of it more! haha. i'll typically fill it and drink it down twice a day, then have another 16.9oz bottle with some crystal light sort of…

yeah, i know this isn't recommended, but i feel the same way. it seems entirely counterproductive to me to eat if i'm not hungry! coffee is the breakfast of champions =]

i try not to worry about sugar from fruit, because it doesn't seem fair to rank that the same as the sugar in ice cream or whatever. not saying that we should binge on fruit, tho!
