Hi Ladies, Thank you for the invitation. My name is Valerie. I've been on site since July and thought I had lost 17 pounds but this week I am up 2. Very frustrating. I am single, an educator/tutor. If you can load your photos from your camera to your computer and the up load them from your computer to MFP. Sometimes I have to load my photo on to Facebook, then to my computer, then to my MFP. I know - it is not easy!

I think you are talking about sunflower seeds. Pepitas or pumpkin seeds are found in the middle of a pumkin. I clean off the stringy goop and then bake them. But maybe I will try frying them next time. Thank you Raven

I would like to know why the pepitas I buy are so much easier to eat and digest than the ones I make. My pumkins seeds are too chewy. Any ideas?

I don't see how this study applies to overweight or obese individuals since the subjects (young healthy men) began their semi-starvation diet at a normal weight. I feel a little guilty, but I need to let this message board know that I am not doing any fasting during the next 5 cold winter months (I live a few hundred miles from Canada.). I'm following approximately 1500 calorie a day diet for right not and losing about 1 pound every 10 days.

I don't believe in "cheating!" I call my higher calorie days TDEE days or maintenance days as I keep them close to my TDEE (which is about 2200).
