  • There are 2 alternate day diet groups at mfp based on Dr Johnson up down day diet. He is one of the Drs mentioned in the U of Il study. His website gives calorie calculations based on your weight. You can eat your 500/600 calories at any time.

  • Thank you so much for this link. You provide such good information on your posts. When I didn't,t lose any weight last week after averaging 1300 calories and 6 hours of exercise, I decided to stop my protein powder drinks and cut back on exercise. Most my friends here though that was crazy.

  • Full fat is definitely traditional. Low fat usually has more artificial ingredients. However I eat both. I just eat less of full fat.

  • You can dramically raise your body's natural hgh: high intensity energy burst during exercise (see Dr. Mercola) and fasting 18-24 hours (no calories-see intermittent fasting). I've tried both and these methods give a great energy boost.
  • MFP uses how much you weigh for how many calories you burn. A 250# person burns many more calories than a 150# person. However I don't count my exercise calories and lose much more weight that way. 3 pounds last week not counting exercise calories than over 2 per week that I was burning the 3 weeks before.
