Spiders in the bathtub. Especially B-I-G spiders. I always look before I turn on the water for a shower. If one is there I try to wash it down the drain before it comes out & jumps all over me. Spiders on the wall or ceiling or any place else are okay. Well not okay. But I can handle it. Weird, huh?

I'm vegan. My diary is open to friends. Add me. You sound like a great mom. You're willing to cook meatless for her even tho you're not veg*n. Yay for you!

It's true! By losing weight we gain confidence in ourselves & our self esteem rises. I've maintained my loss for over 7 months now. My weight fluctuates 3 lbs up, then those 3 lbs down. I'm happy with that. Susan - sorry you were not feeling well. Bookworm - sorry you are so depressed. But both of you can see the positive…

Yucko!!! BTW - what is turbo *kitten*?

I tried Google, but, it only tells me that the broth is low in calories--not much of anything else.

The veggies are discarded so I need to count only the broth they made.

A friend gave me a zucchini from her garden. It weighs at least 6 lbs. Gave half away to another friend. I made zucchini salad. Here's my recipe: Soften 2 cups chopped onion with 2 tsp minced garlic in a hint of oil in a 4 qt pot sprayed w/cooking spray. Add 6 c. zucchini, 1 c. chopped tomato, parsley & 2 c. water. Bring…

I bought my Zip in April, wear it every day & I love it. It's a great motivator for me. I try to do more than 10K steps every day. I think it's accurate for what it measures. As for the One, I don't really care about measuring my sleep or stair climbing. Fitbit syncs with mfp so I don't have to figure out the calories or…

I also went from vegetarian to vegan about 6 weeks ago. I try not to eat junk. Been doing pretty good with it. My diary is open to friends. ending a FR your way. Also, check out http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/45-happy-herbivores

Transition a little at a time from vegetarian to vegan. I let milk go first (now have almond milk), then eggs since I was only eating about 2 a month, then egg products in everything, then the rest of dairy (cheese, yogurt, butter, etc). Going slowly makes it easier than getting overwhelmed all at once. Check out the Happy…

Been on here since last July. Logged on since day 1. Had a computer crash in Oct. Couldn't log. Had to start counting all over again. I've logged on the last 275 days. Feel free to add me.

When I'm sick I usually don't want to eat. So no problem there. But stressed--that's another story! I play with my dog or take her for a walk. Do you have any pets? I watch a movie I taped on the DVR. If it has commercials I skip through them, if no commercials that's even better. When I scrapbook I get too busy sometimes…

I'm also a vegan. I'm not on a low carb plan but I try not to go over the amount allotted by mfp. I try to eat as much fruits & veggies as I can. Here's a group you could check out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/62-happy-herbivores My diary is open to friends if you want some ideas.

I really do have hip bones. I can sit comfortably in an airplane seat & cross my legs. No need to shop the plus sizes any more. Wear shorts & pants that have a zipper & button instead of a stretchy elastic waistband. Walk further without getting winded. I have a better relationship with food. I control it, it doesn't…

All foods agree with me & I definitely agree with them. That's how I got here in the first place.

Garlic, garlic and garlic. In that order. And did I mention garlic!!!

I buy seasonal fresh fruits on sale & cut them into bite sizes. I keep them in the fridge in bowls ready for a snack. Summertime is my favorite fruit time of the year. I just love summer fruits. There is watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, etc. Blueberries too. It's so easy to grab a handful of…

Still here even though I'm at goal weight. Need to be accountable to myself. What not to do naked--go shopping at the mall.

Oh yeah! WTG!!!

I'm sorry your feelings were hurt. He hasn't any right to talk to you like that. He deserved being called an *kitten*****. You're doing really great with your weight loss & getting healthier. 50 pounds is an awesome accomplishment. Don't let him take that away from you. You deserve better. It's no wonder he's your ex.

I got a Zip in April. I don't need to have my sleep tracked or measure climbing stairs. The Zip shows: time of day, steps, distance in miles, calories burned. It runs on battery. You can sync to MFP which I just did yesterday. It's a simple tool. The One tracks sleep & stairs. It runs on a rechargeable battery. You can…

Good for you! Glad you were able to get a solution to your problem--or should I say the other woman's yelling problem. You don't deserve to be disrespected. You didn't eat away your troubles. That's great that you were able to have only a small part of the cake & stop. That is an accomplishment.

This week I've eaten out once so far. I did pretty good at Red Robin today. I had a Gardenburger wrapped in lettuce with fries (only ate 1/2 of the fries). I had light lemonade to go with it. It's only Mon & I'm going out for lunch again tomorrow. I'm not sure where. Hopefully we'll go somewhere where there are enough…

Peel & slice. Add thinly sliced green onion (white & green parts), white vinegar, a little sweetener (sugar, Splenda, or whatever you like), salt & pepper to taste. Refrigerate a few hours. You're good to go! Yummy!!!

Sometimes we tend to stuff our feelings inside with food. It's not worth it. Glad you didn't eat your way around the problem. Good that you stood up for yourself. That shows me that it can be done. You are setting a good example for me. Thanks.
