Is diet soda bad for you? Yes, Yes, Yes! It's bad for everyone, period. I used to drink A LOT of pop, mainly diet soda once I found out I was diabetic. In my discussions with my cardiologist from The Ohio State University, he recommended that I stop drinking pop all together, which my Primary Care Doctor agreed with…

To each their own. I will NEVER eat that death food again. In my lifetime I've eaten enough Big Macs for a small nation. Now I want to be healthy in every possible way. I worked at McDonald's once upon a time, I know what happened to the food in our store and I'm sure it still happens. Only you are in charge of what goes…

I saw where he posted this on twitter. Absolutely incredible! He is one of my inspirations for my own weight loss.

I never imagined there would be someone close to me on here. I live in Marysville.

I started at 428 lbs, down 42 pounds so far. You can indeed do it.

I probably have a very different view point on this than a lot of people, but I say take your own food. I certainly would. For me personally, I pay A LOT of money to participate in the medical weight loss program I am in and I am on a very strict 1200 calorie per day eating plan. I know what I can eat and what I absolutely…

@ Nadinex, Here you go! Enjoy my answers`1 1. You're the size of an ant... what are you going to do? I'm going to ban together with the other ants in my colony and steal all the food from your picnic in the park! :-) 2. If you had a super power it would be... I'm already a ninja superhero, what more do I need? 3. How do…

I blog on my own blog site www.thebrianmo.com I don't sell anything, so I hope posting the link isn't considered "advertising" I blog a little about a lot of things, lately it's been mostly about the medical weight loss program I am in, but some wrestling (WWE) and current events as well.

I'd like to be able to fit in the Santa suit by Christmas! :D If I'm 325 by Christmas I will be thrilled. Last weigh in was 386.8 down a total of 42 pounds so far.

RedHeadDevotchka, I LOVE cats, they taste like chicken! :D Seriously though, I once took in a homeless, pregnant cat and when she gave birth I took care of her and her kittens. One of them died and I had to bury it, I was heartbroken. She would bring me dead birds and leave them at my backdoor, which repulsed me, then I…

I eat a very high protein diet, that is what my team of doctors, dieticians, behaviorists and exercise physiologists prescribed for me and I have no problem losing weight. There are several factors involved in the process. 1) In order to do it, I have to stay within my 1200 calorie daily limit. 2) It must be low carb all…

Cheese, Pickled Baby Corn (which is very low in calories and carbs) and hotdogs, although I've only had 1 in the past 2 weeks, lol

For me personally it's a HUGE (no pun intended) turn off. I like the all natural look. I'm not a supporter of cosmetic surgery or implants just because a person can. I can always tell if they are real or not, just not something I have an appreciation for. BUT, I will say that I've seen doctors do amazing things with women…

On the one hand my wife doesn't care what I weigh. On the other hand she knows that my weight is classified as morbidly obese and wants me to be healthy and live a long life. So with regards to health and well being only, she cares.

Is it unrealistic to lose greater than 100 pounds by June 2013? It would depend on how much greater than 100 you're talking and how much you weigh right now. I am in a medical weight loss program where I am monitored by doctors, dieticians, psychologists and exercise physiologists and I've dropped just over 40 pounds in 2…

Socially I order water or unsweetened iced tea. I'm responsible for what goes in my body and I don't want to throw off my calories, blood sugar or weight loss.

Honestly the thing that works best for me is to be in the pool. I am in the pool 5 or 6 days a week as it is, but I've found it relieves my stiffness and soreness better than anything else I've tried. Not saying it will for everyone as our bodies are all different.

My long term goal is to lose 138.5 lbs. I began at 428.5 and as of my weigh in last week was 399.9 so down 28.6 pounds so far. Next official weigh in is late tomorrow afternoon. Best wishes in your journey.

Physically I love my eyes, they are hazel but change color with my mood. The more weight I lose the more they sparkle and shine and I just love that. I'm intelligent, ALWAYS honest and have integrity, I like that a lot too. :-)

I know what my wife weighs and she knows what I weigh. There have NEVER been any secrets in our relationship. If someone loves you they love you regardless of what you weigh or look like. Write your weight down.
-
Feel free to add me also, best wishes on your journey. :-)

Yep, me too! Mountaineer for life here! Excited to see what happens this year in the Big 12 :-)

If any man is truly going to love you he will love you regardless of what you look like. I'm a man, I know. I could care less what a person looks like, that's completely shallow. What matters is the content of a person's heart and character. True beauty comes from within and then, like a light, escapes to make the whole…

I just want to share that eating disorders are not limited to those who are skinny or underweight or to those who make themselves throw up or whatever. I've been morbidly obese for a while now and it was not until I admitted that I have an eating disorder that I was able to make changes. Eating disorders come in many forms…
