Yes! Today is one of those days where food just doesn't sound good to me, but I know I have to eat in order to have enough energy to make through another workout.
-
I agree!

Hello from sunny California :) Welcome to MFP!
-
Same here! I will admit though, I feel a little giddy when I weigh myself after it's over because it's almost like I drop 3 pounds overnight.
-
Love it! I'm definitely looking forward to #2
-
I agree! And maybe instead of putting a heart on things showing that it's heart healthy, they should put a giant butt on there showing "if you eat this, you WILL get a big butt"
-
I haven't really "given up" anything. It's more like all the delicious food that got me to be over 200 pounds are now special treats I only eat once in a while. Like Cookie Monster says, "Cookies are a sometimes food"

Monday: 575 (yoga, hip hop) Tuesday: 512 (weights, cardio, yoga) Running Total: 1087

Bumping for later
-
Is it too late for me to join? I hit the gym twice today and burned 575 calories
-
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely have to try that soon.
-
How exciting! I'm still about 30lbs over what my license said, but you gave me a new mini goal to strive for: "145lbs - actually weigh what my license says I weigh"
-
I'm part of this club too! I actually look forward to heading back to the office on Mondays because I know I'll be working out regularly and eating right again.
-
I mix it up within the week (weights, elliptical, hip hop, yoga, walking), but have the same schedule from week to week. I find if I don't plan my workouts ahead of time, I usually end up talking myself out of doing them at all
-
I'm honestly surprised I lost any weight at all this week since I ate so horribly (it was my husband's birthday and we had various celebrations with friends and family). For three days I was over by about 500, 800, and 1200 calories. How do you go over by TWELVE HUNDRED CALORIES and still lose weight?!…
-
I'm usually freezing too. Part of me thinks it's because I'm burning off all the blubber that's been keeping me warm
-
I'm looking forward to the day I'm comfortable enough to bare my arms. Good luck!
-
I'm hoping for more measuring cups. It's surprising how quickly I run through our set now that I measure everything I eat!
-
Congratulations!

I didn't do as well as the rest of you. One Dannon Light & Fit yogurt (yay!)......and a slice of yellow cake with chocolate frosting (boo). It looks like the gym and I have a hot date tonight!
-
That reminds me of peanut butter and nutella sandwiches. Or sometimes just nutella on toast  Every now and then I get a craving for a type of avocado soup.....basically just a mashed up avocado with some milk and sweetener. It reminds me of avocado boba smoothies, but without as many calories.
-
Me too!

Last night I had a frosted sugar cookie a couple hours after I had clicked the "Complete Entry" button on my food diary. I guess I felt guilty about not counting the calories and was talking about it in my sleep, so my husband went back and logged them for me!
-
I do worry about that. Especially when it comes to my arms.....
-
Bump
-
Congratulations!

My husband and I make peanut butter protein balls using one cup of peanut butter, one cup of oats, and one cup of chocolate protein powder. Nuke the peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds to soften it up, then mix everything together, form into little balls, and store in the fridge. We use a little cookie…

Ditto!

Consistency is definitely key here. I try to weigh myself the same time every day, otherwise I can fluctuate by five pounds.
