You look amazing! Congrats! I believe it too! When I just exercise without dieting, I gain, no matter what (and for exercising I mean 3 times weekly to the gym and a 10-12 mile hike on the weekend). 70% dieting and 30% exercise is the key! =)

My goal is 130 and I am 5ft2inch tall. At my biggest ever I weighed 145 and, while chubby, I wasn't enormous by any means. I would think that you should probably gain a little, or at least start the maintenance phase right away. You would look WAY too skinny in the 130s at 5ft10. =)

I am 5ft2 and at my biggest last July I was 144. I have been married for 14 years and we still have intercourses several times a week. I think that it is a little too soon for him to have lost interest/desire in sex with you. I don't think it's a matter of weight, either - you aren't that big at 145!!! -. I wish you all…

I am also 5ft2. I started at 144and am now 2 lbs. away from goal (130). Sorry, no pictures.

I am doing the MFP method LOL! It says that I have to eat 1200 cal./day to lose and it is really working for me. I also go the a gym 2-3 times a week and hike several miles on weekends. P.S. I NEVER eat the exercise calories I earn.

Your story is great and the profile picture shows a man in shape! You did it! I am so happy for you and your family. My husband and I are hikers, so I understand your desire to be healthy so that you can continue doing the things you love! Amazing job!

You look so much younger! I am amazed at the difference! Hopefully the friend who got you started will be inspired by your results and will want to finish what she started. Well done!

It's the first time I see a cutout!!! So totally unbelievably cool! And you look amazing, btw! Congrats!

I was born and raised in Italy, so you gave me a great idea! Pesto on scrambled eggs! Thanks for helping me making lunch today!

I am ROFL myself, Coach!

I eat many eggs weekly, at least 7! I have a total cholesterol of 138 and while I don't remember exactly the ratio, I do remember that my doc said that the LDL is low and the HDL is high. It's the total diet/lifestyle that determine the outcome, on cholesterol, weight and everything else.I will def keep eating my eggs! =)…

Awesome change! I also very much like your new haircut.

This is the best advice I read on MFP so far - and I have been logging in faithfully since July '12. Well said!

You are who you are. Keep on laughing.

Well said. I couldn't agree more.

Wow! All of you ladies and gents who lost 100+! I'm in awe of you. You are true fighters and winners! A hug to all of you!

Never weigh yourself the morning after what I would respectfully call a binge. Get back on track and wait 3-4 days before your next weigh in. =)

It seems pretty realistic to me. I am 5ft2inch tall, and weigh 132 lb (started my weight loss at 144). Right now my BMI measures 24.1. At goal weight (130) it'll be 23.8. Both BMIs are in the high range of what's considered normal weight. I am in good shape because I work out and hike many miles each week, but I am by all…

Great work! Looking good and just getting better! Keep it up! =)

OMG!!! I had to look more than twice because you look like a completely different person!! What an amazing job! GOOD FOR YOU! A hug!

Wonderful job!!!! 60 lbs! Wow, well done! And a size 12 sounds great! A hug to you. Keep it up!

5ft2 here, go to the gym twice weekly and hike every Sat. (no matter what!), averaging 10 miles each time (I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so hiking here means LOTS of up and down). I am on 1200 because if I eat back my exercise calories, I either don't loose anything or even manage to gain a little! =(
-
I am on a 1200 right now to lose the last 3 lbs. and haven't lost my appetite at all. Once I reach goal, then I will need 1500 to maintain it, according to MFP. Do you need 1800 daily to maintain? =)

Born and raised in Italy, I moved to the US 15 years ago and have been a US citizen for 7 yrs. now.

What a difference!!! You are doing great! Keep it up and you will be done in no time!!! =)

I find MFP to be pretty accurate. I reached goal back in October and to maintain I need 1500 daily calories. That's the right number for me; if I stick to it, I maintain, no matter what foods I choose. P.S. I have recently gained 3-4 lbs. and have put myself back on track, so I am now eating 1200 daily to lose weight. I…

Wow! What a difference! You did so well and are so right, everyone should find a workout routine they enjoy! Personally, I hit the gym twice a week, and then I go on very long hikes every Sat. with my hubby, averaging 8-10 miles per hike. Keep up the amazing job! Good for you!!!! =)

I'm very petite, 5ft2 inches. My goal is 130, I am now 133 and my new linen pants are a size 4 US. I started as a size 8.

Hiking is the best thing ever!! My husband and I hike every Sat. without fail and we average 8-10 miles each time. We hit different trails/parks each time and I have to say, it's a great workout! And you cannot beat the scenery! By all means, hiking is the best thing I have ever taken up. Enjoy!

OMG!! What a difference! I admire your determination and look at the results! Just fabulous! =)
