I think its something like this..... When you juice you lose the fibre, apparently fibre has 4 calories per gram. So a little example, if you were to juice one apple (109 calories, 5.1 g fibre) then it would have 89 calories once juiced. This is what i have been doing!

Could only find snippets online, nothing about the nutritional information. I saw the pot was 300 grams, maybe you could tesco or asda as a best match. Sorry i couldn't be more help.

I've got a Kinetik Body Composition Monitor, only cost £10.00, well worth it. Tried it before i went doctors and the numbers i got were the same.

Doing some form of interval training will help you achieve this. I couldn't run a mile when i started the couch to 5k program, but over 9 weeks (training 3 times a week) i managed to run 5k in under half an hour. I'd reccomend the program. For example, first week you do 5min warm up then alternate 60 secs of running with…

Thanks, i'll take a look now.

Search strength training as a cardiovascular exercise and then you can log it.

Week 5, Day 3 was terrifying, was dreading it from the beginning of week 4. However i did it and i think it gave me the confidence to finish the rest. I can now confidently run 5k (best time 27.20 on treadmill). Good luck, stick with it, don’t be afraid to repeat anything.

Chicken, Turkey, Tuna, Nuts are some of the things i try to add some protein.

Hi, i'm from London, welcome to MFP, feel free to add.

I've probably got pissed at lease once a week for the whole time ive been tracking and have managed to lose 48lbs. I do track everything and i do work harder at the gym and eat less on drinking days. I find the main problem is the Kebab i want on the way home and the fry-up i want in the morning. Usually drink a few pints…

The 220-Age is your Max HR, which is an estimate but roughly correct i believe. The 85% of your max is the highest effective percentage for burning fat/muscle. So if you were constantly over 178 that might be a problem. I was over my 85% constantly for the first month or so, now i'm a bit fitter i can usually push myself…

Normally subract 14 calories for every ten minutes excerised. I used my BMR to work out how many calories i would have burned in that time just by doing nothing.
-
Hahaha brilliant. I usually eat less and exericise more on days im going to be drinking. Works out quite well because i get drunk much quicker!

Welcome, quite a of few of us here i think. I'm from London.

Managed to find an article I read ages ago on this. http://exercise.about.com/od/weightloss/a/The-Truth-About-The-Fat-Burning-Zone.htm

yeah gbell is correct. Heres some numbers that explain to it, even though ive completely made them up, just for an example. 60 min cardio at 60 % - 500 Calories burnt (400 fat calories (80%), 100 muscle calories (20 %)) 60 min cardio at 80 % - 700 Calories burnt (525 fat calories (75 %), 175 muscle calories (25%))

I've lost an average of 12lbs a month for nearly 4 months, which is quite deceptive because i lost more at the begining. 1st Month - 20 lbs 2nd Month - 14 lbs 3rd Month- 5 lbs 4th Month (1 week left) - 7 lbs
-
I 100 % agree with you. I'm not sure what feeling fat is supposed to feel like. I was saying to my sister that i don't "feel" any different now even after losing 46lbs. I can see a massive difference but dont feel it. The only thing i can put this down to was not feeling fat in the first place.
-
41 lbs in 14 weeks.

Guess by finding something closely related on the database. Then say i had 1.1 servings to allow for margin of error. But i'm like you, i hate doing this!

Polar FT4 works great for me. Cheapest on Amazon.co.uk i think.

I've been at this for 3 months now, i track my alcohol calories and also units of alcohol. Ive lost a fair bit of weight and been out 17 times in this period (drinking over 20 units each time). BUT i work harder at the gym on days i know im going drinking, i eat less food and (the hardest part) i dont give into eating…

Fantastic thread, would be great if you could edit your original thread with updates. This is all i have for now but will keep looking; I realise some of these are only in London but something has to be better than nothing.
