The receptionist at work keeps a candy dish on the counter, but I try to keep it to one or two pieces a day and make sure it fits in my calories. Don't deprive yourself, just keep it small portions

I'm in the same boat Elaine, my husband and I both fell off over the holidays (gained 7 lbs) and can't seem to get back on, I have lost four of the lbs though. He has pretty much quit, and I do great during the week and terrible on the weekends. I know I can do it, but for some reason don't try hard enough. I do exercise 6…

I usually work out after work, in the summer I enjoy long bike rides or a round of golf.

I drink lemon water or 0 calorie vitamin water

If I know I'm going over my calories, I don't log it
-
I only log losses, never gains

My husband was never supportive at first, whenever I went to exericise he would say I was obsessed. Then it was we can never do anything because I always exercise after work, so I started working out in the morning. After about a year he decided to join me, he does his exercise at home and I do mine at the gym, and we…

Stop the eating that I've been doing since Thanksgiving and drop the 10 lbs I've gained and lose an additional 10 lbs

I'm 5'4" eating 1500 calories a day, exercising 6 days a week, and maintaining. The only way for me to lose weight is eat less then 1500 calories a day, doesn't seem fair, but that's the way it is. So, yes you have to eat less to continue losing weight

Exercise is the best way to get rid of the winter blues
-
I do that all the time, and it's irritating. I'm terrible on the weekends but I have lost weight. You have to be strict on the weekends and you will keep the weight off that you lost during the week. Like Kango said "if you want it bad enough you can make it happen". I lose most of my weight in the winter because it's cold…

My husband and I are doing this together, he always has way more calories at the end of the day than I do, so his supper portions are much bigger than mine. I don't feel deprived I get full on what I eat. But, he doesn't eat hamburger so I don't have to worry about him eating a big mac in front of me. Went to McDonalds…

I eat lean cuisine and smart ones frequently for lunch, I like them and it keeps me satisfied at only 250-300 calories a pop.

I won't spend a lot of money on something to put gym clothes and tennis shoes in. I use a cheap tote bag

I'm 52, 5' 4", medum build. I was as high as 190, over the years have dropped some of that, then really got into it at the beginning of the year and dropped 35 lbs. I have been sitting at 140 most of the summer, would eventually like to get down to 130, the lowest I've ever been was 120 in high school, that doesn't look…

All my clothes are too big, and I want to wait till I lose 5 more lbs before I buy all new clothes. For the heck of it, I decided to try on some new jeans, most of my pants are a size 12, so I took tried on some 10's that were way too big, then I tried on 8's and they were too big, I quit there because I was in shock. I…

That also happened to me when I was doing deadlifts and I thanked him

MFP tell me I can only have 1200 calories, and that's not enough for me. I upped my calories to 1500 and don't eat back any exercise calories.

I look at it, smell it, and walk away. Except the brownies last week, I had about a quarter of a square, I got to taste it and it was good, but didn't go back for the rest of the piece

I put them in my kale smoothie. I just bought them for the first time, I've heard you can put them in almost anything but haven't tried much yet. I have had them in yogurt also, will be interested in what other people put them in

My reward is new clothes. All my clothes are too big now, but I refuse to buy new ones till I reach my goal weight.

A walk is a nice rest day activity. Or just be over for the day and try to make up for it by working out harder for the rest of the week or eating at a slight deficit
-
I've had this problem all summer. Gain on the weekend and lose it during the week, so no loss in a couple of months. Summer is winding down after the state fair, and then back on the wagon to losing. But, have no regrets, it was a lot of fun

If I eat a chicken drumstick, I just put the calories in, don't bother weighing the bone, same with the apple I put in the calories the bag says is in an apple, don't weight the core. I don't think the calorie difference is that much unless you eat every calorie MFP says you can have. I just think think if I overestimate…
