I've just been hit and miss on logging but try to keep up my exercising because we've been so busy for the past 3 weeks, and I've ended up gaining 4 lbs. I only have a little bit of weight left to lose and I find myself losing my motivation. Things are slowing down a little bit now, so I must fight through this and get…

Muscle weighs more than fat

Do what you enjoy, as long as you're moving that's all that counts. Dancing, water aerobics and white water rafting are your exercises, go for it.

If you're not gaining or losing then it's exactly right. You could try adding more calories and see if you still maintain your weight, it's all trial and error till you find what works for you

I would have that message also, I changed the batteries on the chest strap and watch and it has been working perfecly. I also disconnect the electrode from the chest strap when I'm not using it, so it has a chance to dry

I started gaining when I began to eat 3 meals a day. When I was in my teens and 20's I would only eat maybe one meal a day and I was satisfied, never hungry. I got married and had children, and started to eat normal, and the weight came on gradually, I would lose it then gain it all back in a few years time. This is my 3rd…

I get up at 5:15 and do my workout, otherwise it wouldn't happen because life gets in the way. It works out perfectly for me

I'm with Seltzer, I don't record it till I've sustained it for a few days. There are days when I'm very low on the scale only to be back up the next day.

Eat less, and move more is the easy answer. What keeps you motivated is different for everyone, I just got sick of looking at my fat body in the mirror. I've started to get a little lazy as I approach my goal weight, and I need to get back on track. I just picture my fat body the way it used to be and know that I will…

I just got back from a nine day vacation, ate out every meal (2Xday) and drank beer every day. I couldn't exercise like I wanted but walked everywhere, only gained 2 lbs, which I'll lose within the next 2 weeks. So, I say enjoy yourself and don't stress out about it.

Talking to a stranger and she thought my husband was my dad. LOL made my day

Two pieces of Davanni's meat pizza, can't eat the rest of the day if I want to stay under my calories. But it was so good

I decided one day that I wanted to run a 5K, so I started running. I ran my 5K and I never quit, and I don't really like it that much. I still run 1-3 miles 3 days a week, have no desire to run futher at this point. Who knows if in the future I might decide to run a 10K

When I see all that good stuff at the grocery store, as much as I want it, I just keep walking. The receptionist at work has a candy dish on the counter and I limit myself to one or two little candy bars a day (under 100 cal). That satisfies me enough, because I can't not have sugar.

I find it harder in the summer. Even though I get more exercise, there are also BBQ's to attend where the beer is flowing, and the food is good. I try to be a bit mindful of what I'm eating, but I don't obsess over it, summers are so short, they need to be enjoyed.

I'm going on vacation for the week, which means no home cooked meals and lots of drinking. To counteract all that, like last year, I make sure I go for runs every morning and go for a couple 20 mile bike rides. Last year I gained no weight, which was amazing, so I hope that's the case this year as well.

Potato chips, Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos etc....

Where are you getting calories burned from? If it's from the machine it's probably wrong, I wear my heart rate monitor and the machine says I burned twice as much than my heart rate monitor.

I move a lot more in summer, I am not a winter person and tend to sit around and stay in the house where it's warm. There's gardening, biking, walking, golf, taking my grandson to the park, etc. It's just nice to be outside moving, sure there's more BBQ's with food and drinks, just try to stay within your calorie limits or…

I see a huge difference, congratulations. Look forward to pictures when you lose the next 100.

Thanks for the feedback, I guess it is just personal preference. If I golf 18 holes, walking I log that, and on top of my other exercise I did that day I can easily burn 1500 calories. I wouldn't dream of eating back the calories, I just log it to say that I did it.

You tube has a ton of exercises, the one I use is fitness blender, there's a lot of different ones to choose from, most you don't need any equipment.

If you're getting your calories burned through MFP, it's been stated on here that it is really generous and you should only eat back half. But, if you're using a heart rate monitor, you could eat back at least 75%. Make sure you're consuming at a minimum of 1200 calories a day.

Putting on button down shirts and they don't pull apart over the chest area. As I've also lost weight there, which I don't mind at all, they've always been too big.

You don't want to see a professional, but you really need to. You need to find out why you feel so negative about your body image when everyone tells you look great. If this has been going on your whole life now is the time to make it stop. You obviously don't like feeling the way you do and you can't do it by yourself. I…

I drink Bacardi and water with a lemon, when the glass is empy I ask them to fill with water, then the next time I have a drink, etc. It seems to work for me, and I try not to have more than five. I save calories during the day and the prior day and also work out, well I work out six days a week. I don't want to give up my…

I talked (didn't nag) to my husband about MFP for about a year, then one day he said "yes" he would join. So, you can't make him do anything about his weight until he is ready.

I must have done it wrong before, I did have it at sendentary because of my job. But if I change it to slightly active it gives me 200 more calories to eat. Makes me feel a little better, I was worried when I hit maintenance that it was only going to give me 1200 calories to eat. Thanks for all your help

Yes, I do realize that eating 1200 + exercise calories, it all kind of work out the same, although I do burn more than 300 calories per workout, but wouldn't it change after a while. I have always set it at .5 lbs a week and the calories never change, so according to MFP I shouldn't have lost any weight

I usually work out in the morning so I walk in the house and right to the shower. I can't stand being in my wet sweaty workout clothes, it grosses me out.
