I can imagine your legs get really bruised from it! Thank you all for the advice, you're amazing. classictoaster- I think i'll sign up for classes when uni starts (September)- start with me! :p
-
Yeah going there the first time is the scariest bit :s The one in my city is really popular, you have to book classes a few weeks in advance because they're always sold out, so that seems to be a good sign.

gogospice- I LOVE burlesque! Dita Von Teese is amazing. And love4ransom, wow that sounds impressive, I don't think I could teach it myself. I love how it's part fitness/part being sexy haha. I'm up for anything to get fitter that is fun.
-
Awesome! How hard was it at the beginning, or how hard would it be for someone who (as i've said before) has no upper body strength? And haha eatcleanntraindirty- i'm sure my boyfriend wouldn't mind ;p he's encouraging me to go.
-
anybody else?:)
-
Thanks for the replies so far! It does look like so much fun so i'd like to do it even if it wasn't the best workout... Although nessiechickie- I have the weakest upper body strength EVER, so i'd probably suck so much at it haha.

I posted this on another thread but... panko breadcrumb them! There's 95-100 calories per half a cup of panko breadcrumbs (which is all/more than you need), dip slices of veggies in soy milk or normal milk (aubergine, carrot, courgette, even portabello mushrooms, lotus root) and then dip each side in the breadcrumbs, then…

These look great! i've tried to use rice paper sheets before but failed hard haha... will have to try and use them again
-
I thought the minimum age for this site was 18? maybe i'm wrong :s
-
I'm 19, 5'11, same weight as you (: feel free to add!

I sometimes make panko breadcrumb aubergine (dip slices in soy milk then in panko breadcrumbs) and oven cook instead of fry (: Or cubing it, then dry frying it (I literally never use oil to cook and aubergine doesn't really need it anyway as it would just soak it all up) and then use it on top of salads. Or you can make a…

Freaking amazing!! Well done girl!
-
the orange and beetroot one sounds soo good!
-
I also completely disagree with this- all of my friends are guys in real life (I don't actually have one female friend haha)! Although hanging around lots of guys, they're bound to take the piss and joke about... it's what lads do.
-
I started today, feel free to add if you want an encouragement buddy!

Ditto to everyone, you know something's wrong, go see a doctor. I don't know how to recommend how much you should weigh... 118 is too low though, I'M 5'11 and have a really small frame, and my lowest was 110 which looking back was ridiculous. I'm now aiming for 130. If you want help you can become thin AND healthy- just…

At my lowest weight (which I know was too thin looking back) I would get random strangers shouting 'eat a burger!" or 'if i hug you/insert expletive here you, you'll snap in half!" But of course that's TOTALLY acceptable... i'm not saying that people making fun of overweight people is any less important, they're both as…

Jack Daniels! And crisps (kettle chips are the best, ugh).
-
Also regarding the 'she looks taller than the door' comment... have you seen the heels she's wearing! She looks like she's wearing litas.
-
It saddens me to see how many people are being rude about her... if someone posted a picture of someone large saying 'guess their measurements!" they wouldn't be poking fun at her arm size... seriously guys. Making fun of weight works both ways.

Is it a proper binge or just snacking? You could include an evening/late night snack in your daily meal plans... so plan in calories for whatever you want (homemade popcorn is a great idea, you can put whatever you want on it- one cup is like 20 calories I think? I like adding nutritional yeast and chilli powder).

Mmm these look so good, i'm going to try and veganise it next week (:
-
I've been missing my goal by about 500, EVERY single day It's so hard getting up to it, like I feel like i'm eating a lot and it gets frustrating haha. So i've bought some avocados which i'm going to try and have every other day... not sure what else to suggest though, think i'll stalk this thread too (: I can't eat any…

I live off £10 a week for food- for myself I usually buy bunches of salad leaves, a cucumber, beetroot, lots of tinned tomatoes, frozen vegetables (broccoli/cauliflower), carrots, white onions, a couple of sweet potatoes, sometimes maris piper potatoes, some dried pasta, dried lentils, and some tinned beans (pinto/kidney…
-
Yes, they're fantastic! Especially the super old ones (you can find them on youtube) where the quality's rubbish and everyone's in really awful clothes haha
-
I either have 1 weetabix with soy milk... and then black coffee. Or I skip breakfast entirely (usually skip it to be honest, in the summer I wake up too late to bother with breakfast, and when uni starts back again i'll have no time as i'll be rushing to get up and go get the bus no doubt!) edit: so calories work out at…
-
monstercake- as a vegan myself i'd love to hear some of your recipes and get ideas!
-
I'm actually drinking this now haha Tall Soy Cappuccino - 80 calories!
-
Switch it to healthy foods? I snack on cucumber slices and homemade popcorn a lot of days if i'm in the grazing mood.
