I couldn't survive without my coffee every day and as this is not just a short term thing, I want my healthy eating etc to be long term I refuse to cut it out. I do however have skimmed milk (have never taken sugar so that is not an issue). I spend 120 calories a day on 4 cups of coffee with skimmed milk - and I manage…

 Yes i totally agree with this. I eat at least 2 peices of fruit a day (usually more) and lots of vegetables with my evening meal. Since ensuring i keep to this i can assure you i feel better and i feel fuller for longer :)

I'vealways wondered this. And depending on which coffee i click on here, i get different amounts of calories. I have skimmed milk in mine ( no sugar or sweetener) but the coffee i select on here - one cup of nescafe coffee with skimmed milk - comes up at 30 calories. I just go with that now, but i have no idea if it is…

From a very quick look at a couple of days of your food diary, I would say, perhaps your not eating enough!? You should get as close as you can to your daily calorie allowance and anything you gain through exercise you should aim to eat at least half of. Are you drinking enough fluid too, i.e water?

Yep we got a guy like that here. Thankfully I don't share an office with him but, I do get updates from those that do lol

I sister in law has a great lunch idea The night before she steams loads of her favourite veggies Then once done and cooled, pops them in the fridge for lunch the next day When it comes to lunch time the next day bring out your veggies and heat in a microwave and pour hot veg soup all over! Scummy! You could of course heat…

I do tend to go for soup most days I must admit and with the soup some days i will have bread (nimble low cal) other days Ryvita or Crispbreads. But yes I agree sometimes it really isn't what you fancy so then I may go for a ham salad pitta bread, or even a proper slad, with ham, or chicken etc (and i use so many different…

Surely only consuming 800 calories in a day is not in anyway good for you??? MFP recommends a minimum of 1200 and i hav always heard you shouldxn't dip below this or your body goes into starvation mood? Plus, your exercising,. so you should be eating some of those back too honey xx

Are you eating enough? Eating back at least some of your exercise calories? Drinking enough water? I bet you will find you have lost inchs even if the scales have not moved. I have read a lot of posts like this and it does seem to be the case. Did you take your measurements when you started at all? With regards to WW, why…

I have to say I agree, if your food diary is in fact correct there it is not what I would call good in the slightest. We should never dip to below 1200 calories. Ok, I have been know n to by around 50-100 cals but otherwise I aim as close to1200 calories as I possibly can. Please start to eat more and stop starving…

I personally haven't and not sure i have the willpower to either. But am interested to here what people have to say about it ;0)

Looking very quickly at your food diary, i would say no. Not if what you have logged as food on the days you have entered something is 100% accurat. No way would you be eating enough, you need to get to AT LEAST 1200 calories a day, and days when you earn calories through exercise you should be eating more than 1200.

If i have worked it out right, i think 4.5kgs is the equivalent to just under 10 pounds. They say around 10 pounds is a dress size, so anytime soon you should start to notice i would have thought although saying that, we are of course all different. You shouldn't feel disheartened though you have done amazing since the…

Unfortunately, the whole muscle weighs more than fat thing is a myth!! 5lb of fat weighs the same as 5lb of muscle ;0)

Think i might have to try these, they sound lovely, thank you. Also something for a change too ;0)

Good luck, and yes what an incentive - an amazing holiday! Yes you can log everyhtin gyou drink, it is all in the list - just search for it. For example my coffee with skimmed milk is there as well as diet coke.

I plan ahead in the respect that now, 4pm i am planning what I will eat tomorrow, and i have started logging it in tomorrow's food diary too! Some may call this obsessive but for me it helps greatly. It means i get up tomorrow and my daily food is more or less planned and i can also see how many cals are left for on the…

I have recently been told muscle and fat weigh exactly the same! My doctor was the one to inform me of this, if you take 5kg of fat and 5kg of muscle, they both weigh exactly 5kg - he said to me ''simple as that'' I have always thought muscle weighed more than fat, but seems i was wrong!
-
You are building muscle, which weighs more than fat. Taking measurements is going to be a more accurate reflection (do this about once a month) and calculate your body fat as well. With regards to the above - my doctor told me only yesterday that this is a myth! I had always thought muscle weighed more than fat but in his…
