I will say though I got accused of looking sick at 140 by everyone and I was really having a lot of medical issues. So this time I'm hoping to hit 140 ish at a more healthy looking point.

I'd also see about a trainer if you aren't sure of proper for for lifting. At the low starting levels it's not a big deal but better to head off bad habits early.

Squats are my preference with lunges the gods hate me.

Strike shorts and gi I'll pay for but unless it's gi day it's whatever I scrounge up that smells like laundry detergent.

I look top heavy at 140 so that is where I stop. Plus that's the weight my doc told me to stop at. large chest thighs and calves and relatively small hips and waist at that point

It could be worse my doc told me next time I let my my winter sad get out of hand he's giving me vitamin d shots. My solution has been a glass of vitamin d milk and sunlight but I live in the south east.

I don't usually eat until noon or so late as 2 or 3 somedays except on Thursdays there will be eating between noon and 1 on thursdays. Thou gh that's because Thursday is my early day and I've got no time between 1 and 615 to eat

At 5'1 I'd like to see 130 but I could live with 140-145

Italian dressing can of green beans can of new potatos(both strained) 6-8 chicken pieces or 4 quarters in a baking pan on 325-350 for 45 min tho if your using breast I'd cut into check. And voila dinner for one with leftovers for 3+ more meals or a family meal.

I'm working on getting back down to actual pushups. Went from counter down to chair arm rest at 20 now I'm down to the seat just gotta find something between seat and ground. Cinder block maybe?

I use icy hot if I'm still having problems after a week or so but I'm really good at injuring myself and I don't think some of these bruises are ever really gone.

Should be no reason it's too late. I'm 28 and joined an mma school in January is awesome. :D ask the normal questions maybe ask to observe the class see if you can live with the philosophy and teaching style.

I go with active mostly because it's a pain to log waitressing and I've added in the walking at school during the day and an mma class.

I found a class for something I wanted to learn since childhood, martial arts. My parents didn't agree with the philosophy of many schools in the area cept the jeet kun,t think that's right, an hour away so that was out. There could be a reason other than insecurity i as a example look top heavy at about 140. This being said you like how you look keep going.

At a towering 5'1 I intimidated several of my male class mates when my squat and leg press amounts came out in high school. I'm doing it again when I started mma classes but meh. I do what I do for me it's never been for some guy. And kick your brother in the shins he deserves it for saying that to you.

Physically speaking an elite athlete that is a woman will not be as strong as a male elite athlete just on the sheer basis of differences in how we are built. My diet doesn't usually survive Saturday but consider I usually wait tables for 12-18 hrs that day and hit 15-20k steps while still managing to leave my phone/calculator /pedometer in half a dozen places while I run food .I think it's ok.

Depends on the day I'm not getting out of bed any earlier than I have to but I've got at least one day a week were lunch falls and I've only got that hour before I have another class and my long break is in the late afternoon

I'm losing at 2000 ish a day but I'm at active between my job waitressing and my between classes pacing. when sedentary I lose at 1500

I have a 2 foot step ie just over 8 steps to 5 yards but I'm also really short today looks kinda like 5-6 miles but it's also a nearly 20k step day.

Not to lose 40 lbs in a semester again, use an inhaler before mma, and to do incline pushups to work back down to full pushups.

@MrM27 No I'm asking for opinions, considering whats given, and adding details as I feel necessary. I'm a vaguely obsessive person who turns things over in my mind over and over and over. @ana3067 It isn't I've plans to add more as I learn more but that is what I've learned that can be practiced with out another person.

Honestly with that list I'm not sure how. And it just feels like I'm doing a lot more than I was when I was counting myself as lightly active and losing a pound a week.

I count the list as normal activity because its practice for the class, if that makes sense. Don't practice don't get better.

My protection of choice if I have to go out after dark is bright colors, a fairly large over protective mutt, and pepper spray. But I live out in the middle of no where so depending on if there has been an up in rabies problems I may have something more.

Seriously go to a bra store that caters to larger women and get fitted you may find you're not in the right size. Then it's whatever you like I'm a 38 G and doing mma with bjj grappling.
