I plan on being a little more laid back on Christmas, but I won't be going all out and stuffing my face or anything like that. Same with my birthday which is three days after Christmas. I'm going to try and stay away from sugar still but might have a little bit.

I would recommend eating more vegetables, some days you have less than 10 carbs and little to no veggies. If you want to move through the phases you'll have to get used to eating more veggies and carbs. They recommend 12-15 grams of carbs from veggies alone. I like low carb because it controls my appetite better and I enjoy the foods I get to have with it. I also tend to eat less calories naturally with low carb, but try to aim for at least 1500 a day. I like counting both and have done so for awhile now :)

I don't think I've ever not needed toilet paper! :laugh: I used to be a once every morning pooper but I haven't been that way in ages. I ended up going twice today so I guess my body has adjusted to the low carb, but I might throw in some benefibre for the added benefits.

Today was a lot better! My daughter slept, didn't get me up until almost 7 am too! Except I'm still a litlte sick and my back still hurts. I'm going to aim for a workout tomorrow. I don't want to push it if my back is feeling this way. If it's still sore, I might do some light cardio during naptime.

What type of pills are you taking? I take seroquel and I find it helps my mind shut off so I can sleep, but it's also an anti psychotic.
