  • Ignore them. The novelty of having something new to jibe someone about will wear off when they don't get a reaction.
  • It's just another place where you can get a stitch. In fact if i'm gong to get a stitch, i'll get it here most of the time. You'll notice you'll get them less as you get fitter :D
  • Level 3 is more strength work in my opinion. My upper body strength is a bit poor to be honest- I think that's why I find it a bit more difficult. The jump work in level 3 was a killer for me the first few times.
  • Level 2 was hard for me the first time I did it. Now it's fine to do by itself. I've tried running 1 and 2 together too at times, and it's manageable. Haven't had the courage to run 2 and 3 into one session though- I fear it would kill me!!

  • Try to balance it so that you're weekly calorie total is still under the target, otherwise it's pointless. Have a drink, and enjoy, but try not to regard it as a 'reward' for doing well all week. That kind of thing, if done in excess, might just set you up for failure. If you can manage all in moderation it wont be too…
  • no, def not low carb lol. A bit off topic perhaps
  • Another option is to chop up banana into little pieces and freeze them. When you feel like ice cream, use a hand blender to mix up the frozen banana with a little cocoa powder. Put in a bowl, pour on some flavoured yoghurt, throw some blueberries and chopped almonds over the top and it's almost as good as a sundae!…
  • 5 ft 4 and half. Went from 140 to 120 ish... It was hard work - have to eat right 70% of the time and have a regular exercise routine. It's the only way it works for me. Good luck x
  • There are a few iphone and android apps that do the same thing. I used one called True Weight for a long time (until I went android) Now I use one called Libra. Edit: instead of logging actual weight on weigh in day, you can log average across the week and track that
  • 1200 Calories is perhaps not enough. Your body has been used to having more than this. It could be that having such a small amount of food has resulted in your body slowing your metabolism. There's some science to back this up, have a look online and you will see. But i'm not giving a science talk lol, I just know what…

  • Counteracting excessive binging through diet is actually categorized as an eating disorder. I'm not suggesting this is the case with you at all, I am just giving some insight into the importance of ensuring you strike a healthy balance between food consumption and exercise. Good luck with your weight loss and fitness goals…
  • 31 - We must be less vocal than the young un's just!!!
  • I go at least one or two months every year without doing anything, usually just before the summer. By August each year I have gained around 5 - 6 lbs and by Christmas I always drop back to where I want to be again. It just takes a little extra effort. Don't worry. If you have been working hard previously you know what to…
  • I am in the middle of a push up challenge!!! Have never been able to do any except the girly type. Started trying about a month ago trying, have worked my way up to 5 'proper ones' last night. If I manage 15 by end Jan i'll be over the moon!
  • I bought the dvd at amazon for about £5 but the full workouts by level are also on youtube if you want a preview ;)
  • I've been doing 30DS for two or three weeks now, but I do it every other day(ish) instead of every day and I mix up between different levels depending on how I feel. I've done level 1 about 10 times, level 2 about 5 times and level 3 twice now and I notice a big difference both in strength and tone. I've not changed in…
  • This is a nice idea. If you don't want your ring damaged, wear a substitute!

  • Hey! I started last night. Added it as 20 minutes circuit training. If you want to buddy up and do this together i'd be happy to keep note of how I get on... How did you find it last night? I was a little out of breath, and found the push ups hard (I have very little upper body strength). Apparently level two is when it…
  • Here you are, 100lbs later, a stunning, healthy young woman with the whole world at your feet. How exciting!! Well Done :D
  • 5ft 4.5 (that half inch does make a difference lol). I can maintain at 120lbs on around 1700 or so per day, with the usual treats at the weekends. It really does come down to balance though. Make sensible decisions most of the time with food, exercise 3 or 4 times a week, and you really don't have to worry too much :)…
  • Honey Dried Fruit or Trail Mix Stewed Berries (Throw some cherries, raspberries, blueberries, water and honey into a pan, simmer for ten mins) - serve warm yum yum :) cinnamon Grapes, peaches, fruit salad I LOVE greek yoghurt, can you tell?!?!
  • CAN'T Theres no such thing!!
  • You lost a full 'me' in less than a year, plus an extra stone!! Unbelievable. Incredible. Awesome. Inspiring. Well done :)
  • Is your target weight realistic? I have a comfortable weight at which I can eat, maintain, be happy, exercise, and not have to have strict control on every little thing. Push your weight too low and your body will struggle. What weight are you aiming for? I'm 5.4 and my comfort zone is 8 stone 7 lbs (119). Any less than…
  • I had mushroom barley risotto (swap rice for barley) tonight. First time I had ever tried it but have to say it was very nice. Full flavours, and much lighter than the regular kind.
  • Turkey Mince is about £3 for a 500g pack. It would make at least 3 full servings of whatever you are cooking, possibly four, Is yummy as a chilli, with pasta sauce, etc
  • Last night I had cubed cucumber, red pepper, yellow pepper, tomato, onion and sweetcorn. For dressing I used: white wine vinegar, ginger, lime juice, a little sesame oil, some chopped red chilli and a teeeny bit of soya sauce. Nom!!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it ;)
