I started bellydancing back in 1999. I started off learning Egyptian cabaret and Turkish, then in 2004 I joined a class where the teacher taught Tribal Fusion and ATS... I was HOOKED! I dance only Tribal fusion now and have been performing it since 2009. I love it so much and can't think of every quitting! In fact, I am…

Sweet tea is mother's milk to me! But I've started cutting way back on it by sweetening my tea with Splenda or Equal. Honestly I cheat every now and then, but even then I do a half and half. :)

I am an avid target archer...I am obsessed with archery really. :)

Our son has autism and goes in for testing on the 17th to determine where on the spectrum he lies. He is considered high-functioning though since he's tested at genius level... however he verbalized but can't communicate, is not potty trained (he's 4 years old), and is very anti-social with peers his own age. I knew…

I've been wearing mine for a long time now and haven't had any problems, but that's just me... I can honestly say too that I haven't noticed any difference in my legs or glutes since wearing them, so maybe it's all hype about their supposed benefits.

I love the old school Britcoms with my fave being "Are You Being Served"!
-
All DVD's by Leslie Sanson are great for limited space since they're "walk at home"! I use them all of the time!
-
I do for all my workouts! I use Dance Central for a fun cardio workout, then I have Your Shape Fitness Evolved and EA Sports Active 2 for cardio and strength. I've lost several lbs since getting the Kinect in November! Have fun and keep us posted of your progress! :)
-
I have the 4 mile one by Leslie and I belong to her online walk club... she's great and I love working out to her DVD's! I have nothing but good things to say about her and her videos, so I'm pretty sure you'll like it! :)

Okay, have been taking it now for over a week and I'm at the full dose of 3 pills a day. I have not had any trouble sleeping so that is good... I take the last pill about 6 hours after I take the ones before breakfast.
-
yeah you get lots of great support here... feel free to add me as a friend if you wish! :)

I love my HRM! I have a Bowflex Elite which normally sells for $130 and it was on sale for $50! Couldn't pass that up, lol... It comes with a chest strap which is optional since the watch also measures your BPM, but I wear the chest strap since to me it seems much more accurate than using the watch alone... good luck in…

Not so far, but right now I'm only taking 1 pill before breakfast. Starting today I can take a 2nd pill about 6 hours later so I will let you know if it keeps me awake. :)

Yeah I have to agree with the other posts... almond, rice, or soymilk. almond and rice are on the sweeter side which make them good add-ins to coffees and such. Silk makes a creamer though so you should give it a try, I love it! :)

I've heard really good reviews for it and plan on getting it myself when it's released here for the Xbox Kinect in the USA. Have fun, and let me know how you like it!

It's okay, but not my fave... I personally care for Your Shape Fitness better. The controls for The Biggest Loser are frustrating since once you try to read something on screen, it chooses it which is highly annoying! You can get a great review of the game by clicking here…

I got it when it first came out in November and have loved every minute of it! The only complaint I have is that every now and then I'm doing the exercise shown exactly the same and the trainer tells me I'm "out of rhythm"... other than that happening, I love working out to it! Enjoy it and let me know how you like it!

I personally use Truvia which of course is made with the stevia plant... I try to avoid Splenda if at all possible but do use it occasionally.
-
Absolutely right! :) My current instructor is of a heavier size and can bust out the moves like nobody's business! There's a lot of support amongst the bellydancers and they actually look at the bigger women as "Goddesses"... I like that!

I do belly dancing and have for about 6 years, but I don't necessarily do it for weight loss. It is a fun form of exercise though (depending on the style of dance you choose!) and I love it! I dance tribal fusion style which is very fluid and snakelike most of the time... not exactly what I would consider a good aerobic…

I love reading your posts, they're packed FULL of information and it really helps me out when it comes to my tracking calories! Please keep doing what you're doing and keep us well informed! :)
-
I think I weighed close to 180, I'm currently 165 :D
-
Wow, brought tears to my eyes...
-
I've always heard that you should weigh yourself in the mornings after using the bathroom and either naked or wearing similar clothes each time so you'll be consistent. Good luck!
-
bump :) Still looking for more archery fans to talk to!

Yeah I discovered I am much more accurate shooting a recurve than a compound for some reason. I love PSE bows, to me they're the best! And yes, they are sooo expensive but worth every penny! :)
-
Nice to meet you too, and I hope you love your new bow!
-
I have a Polar FT7 and love it... mine is a few years old and I think we paid $115 for it... I'm looking into getting a more updated one now (hopefully for Christmas!) :)
-
Well I just bought the Zumba game for Kinect... will let you know how it is when I get the chance to workout to it! :)

I have YFE and Dance Central (which is not really a workout game but MAN does it burn some calories if you get into it!!!) The YFE has some great workouts on it which I love but like was said in an earlier post it can be kind of boring at times. But I like that it tells you if you're doing something correct/wrong. Now…
