  • I have the Polar F6 (in pink:smile: ) and have used it about 5 times/week for 2 years with no problem. Occasionally the heart rate will read 00, but when I tighten up the chest strap a little, it's fixed. My workout partner also has a Polar a few years older - she changed the battery about a 1 1/2 years ago, and it's…
  • Thanks! I entered my stats even though I'm only on day 18 due to weekends off and illness. Plan to start level 3 next week & hope to lose even more inches :)
  • Today is day 19 for me, D8L2. Have been taking 1-2 days off per week. Also had a terrible cold last week, so took a week off but got back on program yesterday. Haven't peeked at L3 yet, but i think a few more days of L2 and I'll be ready to tackle 3! I haven't seen drastic results as some people, but my jeans look/feel…
  • The planks aren't my problem...it's the arms and shoulders than are killers for me! Those V lift things with the chair squats - ouch. I do like level 2 better, although today I did 20 minutes of elliptical, then level 2 and it was much harder than yesterday with no elliptical. I burn about 35 more calories with level 2, so…
  • According to my HRM, I averaged about 165 for level 1. Today was my first day at level 2 - and I burned 200 calories doing almost all of the workout.
  • Yes, I am adding more cardio, but at a different time of day. Thought maybe if I split up the workouts it will keep my metabolism going (not sure if that's good logic or not?) Plus, I am burning less than 200 calories on 30DS, and I want to have more exercise calories to eat on those days that I am hungrier. Yesterday I…
  • I started out with 3 lbs, but I didn't have much soreness even though the last few reps on certain exercises were tough. Tomorrow is D3L1 and I plan to use 5 lbs, and possibly switch to 3's during each set if the 5's are too much.
  • I'm in! My gym buddy and I had already planned to start 30DS with the new year, so timing of this group is perfect. I also plan to keep going to gym for at least cardio, maybe some full body workouts, too. I lost 25 lbs in 2010, but gained about 8 lbs back in 2011. 2012 - new year, new ME!
