If you are eating a lot of raw veggies then cut down on raw and eat more cooked veggies. Raw veggies are harder to digest than cooked veggies. Are you drinking enough water? I know I have a lot of body image problems and I've been trying to work through it so I thank you for what you've said. It is so hard sometimes being gentle with myself. But your right I didn't really intend on losing weight as much as I want to be more fit and healthier.

I ignore BMI and I go with body fat percentage. I want to be between 20-22% which is a good range for a reasonably active woman. Going by that I only need to lose 15-20lbs to be there. Much more achievable.

For me mine wasn't slow at all. I was 108lbs from age 14 to 22. After my first son I actually lost weight and was under 100lbs then once I stopped breastfeeding went back to 108lbs. Strippers wear platforms that are thick, not really the same as heels. That is why they are easy to dance in. I wouldn't recommend doing these with really slim heels like stilettos, but a thick platform would work.
