hi. I have been practicing on and off for 7 years. I now practice at a studio 4 times a week. I usually practice hatha or sradha yoga. I sort of like the traditional feeling of hatha. trouble poses for me? Handstand, L-pose, forearm balance. I know as i get stronger all these will come in time. I am in no hurry.

yoga was a big part of me getting of bipolar meds and also getting clean and sober. It is amazing. I have been med free for 7 years. that said... everyone is different and if i was having an episode that i was having trouble responding to, i would go see a doctor.

I am 43. I have found that what i eat, not just how much really matters. I know that everyone is different, but when i keep my carbs around 100 my body seems to melt off the fat. I have only lost 7 pounds so far, but that was in a month so that is pretty good. Last year i ate the same and was jogging, lost 23 pounds but…

I had to stop jogging and even waking aggravated it. I do yoga at a real studio and my pain is subsiding and my body is changing. good stuff.
