Because I spent most of the month aiming for 100 miles walking/jogging/bicycling, I couldn't focus on anything else. I am going to drop it to 50 miles so I can include swimming and aerobics in my exercise routines.

I call them diet saboteurs. My family is supportive, but my coworkers would do this kind of stuff. Since I started my weight loss journey again, I didn't mention a word about it to them. I'll let them figure out I've been trying to lose weight when they start noticing.

"I feel so sad for you" sounds more like a let down, than a concern. She could be tired from a lack of sleep or a busy life. We don't know all the details, and can't make assumptions. I would suggest eating more solid foods than liquid, as they may provide more energy rich nutrients, such as carbohydrates and/or protein.
