Hairstyle (I like it...I wanted to say "gorgeous hair"...but...more than one word)

Fun size snickers bars...does that count?

Totally depends on the chick in question... ;)

Orange and carrots go amazing together. My mother in law made a juice out of beets and carrots that was so delicious.

Do you love him? That's the real question. I'll give you a piece of advice-the attraction will fade. You'll both get old and wrinkly and saggy in places...physical attraction is not all that there is to getting married. Consider seeing a couples counselor. Work out the real issues. If he's upset about even talking about…

Totally depends on the day. I usually walk with the dogs or do stretching. More active days I do Pilates, Pole dancing or some form of cross training. Once in a while I have a day that I'm just exhausted and take a total rest/refuel day (won't worry about calories of exercise...eat when I'm hungry and rest up).

Something about a pair of pants being too big...one of the best NSV's ever.

Hooray! Excellent progress!

So one of the doctors at work let me borrow a book yesterday that gave me great tips on running. I didn't skip my morning insulin dose DESPITE the fact that my blood sugar was 62 mg/dL. I ate my protein cheerios and drank my coffee and took half of the dose after I ate. Blood sugar was 148 mg/dL before I left to run.…

I'm a distance runner with Type I diabetes. Hoping to do a half marathon and my first Tough Mudder by spring...Feel free to add me!

What about your size/measurements? Any changes? My weight has barely changed, but I'm wearing smaller sizes than before.

Celebrate all the victories...big and small!

I have type I but am not really trying to lose-just to maintain and work on mileage/endurance/fitness. Feel free to add me-some things I keep on hand for lows are fruit strips/fruit leather, candy corn and glucose tabs...because those things are low calorie, have just about the right amount of carb (if you count out the…

5k's are ALL about fun... It's a fun atmosphere, usually some silly element to it (Roc race, color runs, zombie runs, etc)...SO relax and enjoy! If you have to walk a little, who cares! Better than sitting on the sidelines :)
-
Just takes time to get used to it. Stick with it. It's easier on the joints too since it's lower impact...a good place to start if you have any interest in running.

Man, having just finally run my first 10 miles, 20 seems so daunting... Then again, running 10 miles when I could only run 1 was scary too.

All I meant is that I never thought seriously about the fact that you do lose salt through sweat until I realized I literally had salt on my face. It made me more aware of the fact that I should be thinking more about 1.) hydration and 2.) electrolyte replacement.
-
No I haven't! I'll look into it now! Thanks

When it comes to alcohol, if I know I want to enjoy some, I leave room...mostly for... 1.) Red wine 2.) Craft beer 3.) good scotch and/or bourbon

I do have some problems with muscles locking a bit when my blood sugar is a little too high...though I have to start out with higher numbers to keep from bottoming out :/

Silly-Sweet Baby Jesus is a beer! Hahaha. No joke, one of my favorites. Chocolate peanut butter porter.

I'm not really trying to lose weight. If it happens, that's a pleasant side effect..but...I'm pretty healthy as far as weight goes. I'm worried more about distance/being able to run further. Not to mention I have Type I diabetes so as I run, I fuel with some carbs to keep my sugar from dipping too low. I do not fear…

HAHA! NO nononono. After!

OHHHH I should get a jar of dill pickles! I love them so much! Good idea...
-
Delish. ALSO, amazing....hot cider with fireball and bourbon. Enjoy-you are welcome.

Well yes-if I could carry bananas with me I would. I am worried about overall electrolyte imbalance from distance running. I'm building up mileage nicely and looking at doing a half marathon as soon as one is available in my area. The salt on my skin just made me even more aware of the fact that I do lose a lot of salt…

I've been going with this theory too. I have some nights I go way over on sodium, but I have honestly never had a day when I can FEEL salt crystals on my face. LoL-fortunately it wasn't running into my eyes today...sometimes it does but I lucked out today.
