according to the fitbit instructions, you're supposed to upload your workouts to MFP, and then the fitbit will pull the information from MFP when it syncs.

there's no way that's right. I do a 30 minute walk on my lunchbreak every day and clock about 4000-5000 steps and burn anywhere from 100-145 calories depending on how fast I'm walking. I have a fitbit flex that calculates it. I also use Runtastic to log the maps/pace. but the fitbit is way more accurate.

I only eat chicken and fish. with the exception of bacon. every once in a blue moon i might have some red meat - but rarely. I eat alot of yogurt, eggs, protein drinks, etc to get my protein in.

I just bought a fitbit flex and this is day 3 of me wearing it. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner! Go get one - you'll be glad you did!

I have an Italian Greyhound. We walk together almost every day when it's warm enough outside.

my SIL and I just did this diet last week. this was my 4th or 5th time doing it. it's not a pleasant or desirable "diet" by any stretch of the imagination.
