Why on earth would you want to cut all sugars? You'd be eating, what, meat and oil? I'm sure there are a few people who are complete carnivores, but it by no means the norm. Unless you have a medical condition, you don't really need to worry about sugar. I don't even track it.
-
I checked out your diary....processed foods and sugars aplenty. Unless there is a Nutella tree no one told me about.
-
The Weston Price Foundation, you say? I wonder what Mr. Price thinks about nutrition? I pulled this from the website. I couldn't make this up if I tried.
-
There was just an analysis released that said they are not really helpful in terms of weight management, but they may be helpful in other medical areas: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41746-017-0002-4 Personally, I have used them on and off and didn't noticed a change in my activity level or weight loss when wearing one…

And you have been given the same answer multiple times.
-
I'm sorry, but you've lost 1.4 pounds over 10 days. What's the problem? Seriously, stop focusing on the day to day minutia and look at overall trends.

I found this link: https://www.themeparktourist.com/features/20170628/32920/guide-rider-size-restrictions-walt-disney-world Also, a lot of rides have tester seats you can try out before you get in line. Enjoy your vacation!

Yep! But if you find you aren't feeling satiated (full) from your current targets, you can play around. For example, I feel fuller when I eat a little more fat and a little less carbs than MFP suggests, so I went in and set custom goals. But I'd use MFP settings for about 4 weeks and then assess how you're feeling.
-
A calorie deficit is what is needed for weight loss. Macro breakdown is individual and will vary by person based on satiety and goals, etc. If you like carbs, eat them. Just make sure you are hitting your nutrient goals.
-
Truth! I tried it once for heartburn and I thought it was going to burn a hole through my chest.
-
Calories are king for weight loss; health, body composition, satiety, etc. are variable based on the nutrition contained in those calories.
-
Your intuition is correct. There are no benefits to drinking acv for weight loss. I do hear, however, that it is wonderful for barbeque.
-
Why not just eat more calorie-dense food? What are your goals? Are you trying to gain 32 pounds of fat?
-
That wasn't clear to me. Because it doesn't make sense that he wouldn't count his shakes as part of his intake. But perhaps that's the problem.
-
I thought that he meant it would be 1500-1700 IF he added the shakes, because he said they aren't in his numbers right now. Well, that's confusing.

I think it's rude and irresponsible of her to leave puddles of water on the floor. She should clean it up with a towel. If you don't feel comfortable asking her to clean up, I'd take it up with the staff. It's a safety concern; someone could slip and fall and the gym would be liable.

He's currently eating 800-1200 calories.
-
So you're going to ignore everyone telling you that you are eating way too little and carry on with your VLCD?
-
I think it's just a typo and he meant to put 'age' since the letters are next to each other on a keyboard.
-
Absolutely unnecessary. Calorie deficit is all you need.
-
Hi there! Starvation mode doesn't exist as you are representing it here. You cannot gain weight from eating too little. And you're eating too little, btw. The minimum for a male is 1500 calories. Drastically under eating can cause a multitude of health issues. If you just started a new workout routine, you are likely…

It's not recommended to brush your teeth 30 minutes after consuming anything acidic. Soda has the same ph as fruit.
-
I suggest you do some research on this way of eating before you try it. Calories and macros are personal, based on your goals. There is a low carb group here that will probably be useful to you.
-
For fat loss, you need a calorie deficit. Eating adequate protein and doing resistance training will help you retain your muscle while in a deficit.
-
That's not what their post said. They said there are metabolic disorders that can result in obesity, not that obesity is always caused by a metabolic disorder. As has been said, becoming obese from overeating is exactly how your body is supposed to work.
-
I usually give myself one day during my period to just eat whatever but stay within maintenance calories. I usually go for salty foods, which does nothing to help with the bloating!
-
If you experienced withdrawal, it was because of the caffeine. It's pretty common.
-
It didn't suck; it just has a cinematic disorder.
-
Okay, now I know you are just messing with everyone. Being overweight carries a number of health risks, you know that. It isn't a metabolic disorder that is making people fat, and you know that, too.
