I'm Christie, an Aussie, mum to the BEST three year old in the world (I am not even biased). I absolutely need to get serious about my weight and stop "treating myself". I had lost 15kg from my initial starting weight, but then started working from home and became less active through the day as a result. I'm finding it…

@pizzafruit OMG you're so right, I need to do the same thing: change my mindset! I'm not happy to see the scale stay the same/increase slightly, so why do I tell myself it's ok?! My biggest issue seems to be portion sizes. They're just too big. I serve myself the same size as my hubby, forgetting always that he's a whole…

Goodness @deepwoodslady your poor old house really is in a state, isn't it?! I hope you're able to get it repaired quickly. I know what it's like having no trades available nearby, and waiting on things to be done. Last year my hubby accidentally broke the glass in our sliding door, and the whole thing was so old (and not…

Quick check in from me, it's Sunday evening here in Aus and it's been a really busy weekend! Currently cooking a nice roast chicken for dinner, and that will provide me with some good protein for lunches this week - just need to figure out what to pair it with!

@joans1976 Yeah I get lost in rabbit burrows in comments and videos...it's amazing how you can lose track of time! I realised I was spending way too much time looking at FB & IG and not enough quality time with my son. I have an iPhone and you can set time limits so it automatically boots you out after your set time (and…

@minstrelofsarcasm Wow, the faire sounds great! I would love to eat a turkey leg lol @SarahJoyManea I also work an office job and find it difficult to get enough steps in my day. I'm not sure I could get up any earlier (already up at 5:30am) and unfortunately only get 30 mins for a lunch break, so I am still trying out…

Just a quick check in from me, I haven't done so well the last few days. Having some stress and tension that's giving me a headache, and overeating (I am a stress eater for sure). Steps have been low. Sleep has been interrupted. I need to get back on track!

@joans1976 That is so great! I love that your goals are not just about weight loss but other health indicators. I hope you really enjoy your trip to Bali, whether or not you hit your 50lb goal I'm sure you'll have an awesome time! A few years ago, I made a goal ladder that I still use today. It is all about the scale of…

@joans1976 That's a great achievement, congrats! I am a long way off hitting that but it's definitely a rung on my goal ladder!

@emilypeverell I noticed you requested to join an old Gryffindor group - the Hogwarts challenge details and application are above

@sanugent9874 Motivation is a funny, fickle thing isn't it! Some days my motivation is soaring high, and I'm frustrated to sit at my desk instead of doing a workout...other days I have all the time I need but struggle to get my butt up even for a short walk. I saw this thing the other day that talked about how motivation…
