  • I could have written this myself. I love the creamers. I wasn't measuring it before and was eyeballing it and was probably adding one quarter to a half a cup to my coffee. I still like it with cream but now I have cut back to 1 or 2 cups a day at most with 3 tablespoons of creamer. It isn't as sweet as I used to like but I…
  • Don't do this. Your friend is nuts. Pardon my expression. I feel sorry for her animals.
  • Lots of reasons: I have always struggled with my weight while having 3 skinny to normal size siblings and one who is overweight like me. I am going to Europe in June and don't want the questions from people mostly from other cultures about why I am overweight like the last time I went and to be able to keep up with others…
  • I could never do keto. I am not a big vegetable fan even though I do like many of them raw or in smoothies and I have a hard time eating much meat. Just regular calorie counting for me.
  • I had it done in 2001. I have posted about my experience with it on my page if you want to read it. I have mixed feelings about it. I did lose some weight, about 80 pounds but regained it all back over the years to my highest weight of 317 pounds, then got back down to 220 with the help of a nutritionist and then yo yo…
  • You aren't lactose intolerant are you? I wasn't before but I kind of am now.
  • The food I usually choose are fiber one bars, an ounce of cheddar cheese, a couple of chocolate truffles if I have room for them, mini rice cakes in ranch or cheddar, a small bag of popcorn that i buy in single servings so I don't nibble on it all night. If it is cold I might have a cup of coffee instead with creamer or a…
  • I just take the one a day vitamin for women for energy. They have a bunch to choose from that are supposed to help with different things.

  • I have a fitbit charge 2 and love it. It tells you that it is time to walk. You can track sleep, steps, see your heart rate. It motivates me to get my steps in.
  • I have them on the rare occasion. Most of them I find unappealing.
  • Yes losing weight will help you feel better about yourself and give you more energy. I walk a lot even though I am in a walking boot and find it helps my mood.
  • It could be. Despite all the vegetables, fruit, and foods people eat they can still have problems in that area. I don't misuse them. I wouldn't recommend that.
  • Why was my post wooed? I know a lot of you think you are superior but I had the gastric bypass years ago and have to eat a lot of protein because of malabsorbption and because it stays with you longer. The doctor recommended taking fiber pills to all their patients. It is not rocket science or made up bs. I guess some of…
  • I know most people recommend adding more fruits and vegetables which is true. I get about 20 g of fiber a day. I take vitafusion gummy bites in the morning and also the occasional laxative, mostly because I need to eat a lot of protein which can cause constipation. The gummy bites are sugar free and have 5 grams of fiber.
  • I take lexapro and have taken it for years and have lost 30 pounds. Since I have been exercising and losing weight I have begun an early riser. I get up at 5:15 am and go to bed around 8:30 or 9. I have tons of energy. This comes from a person who would get up at 7 or 7:30 a.m. (I have a dog that needs to go out) and then…
  • I bought a couple and hated them too such as the chocolate banana and the chocolate peanut butter cup one which was shocking because I normally like anything with chocolate and peanut butter. I got a couple of others to try.
  • Mine was taken out years ago. It ended up being a complicated mess. One thing I noticed in myself and other people who have had the surgery is be near a bathroom if possible to avoid accidents. This calms down after awhile. It might not even happen to you but it did to me and others.
  • You have the same motivation I do for losing weight. I am also going to Europe and know there will be a ton of walking. I started in January and have lost 30 pounds. If I can do it you can also. I also have a lot of joint problems which the weight wasn't helping. I started by walking 2500 steps and was getting over 20,000…
  • There are plenty of people who have to lose that much. Read the post before yours. Feel free to add me if you want. I have to lose 145 and lost 30 already. You can do this.

  • You both look great. congratulations to both of you.
  • I am not a big vegetable fan but I do like them in salads. Also you can sneak spinach in a fruit smoothie and not even know it is in there. That is what I do with my protein smoothie. The only seafood i like is fish.
  • belly, calves and boobs in that order followed by arms.
  • agree with the others. especially don't weigh yourself after you eat a big meal lol.
  • I use click mocha flavored protein powder. It is actually pretty good. I have also tried pure protein chocolate with coffee, skim milk, and ice.
  • A lot of cookies and crackers you can buy individually or in a variety pack. That is one way to go about it. That way you have to think about it a minute before opening a package rather than grab a bunch out of a bag or box. It gives you time to ask yourself if you really want it or not.
  • milk, eggs, chili with beans, shredded cheese, oatmeal, light bread, frozen fruit. These are my staples
  • cheese grits are yummy
  • you can do what I did. I recently hurt my ankle and have to wear a walking boot so I invested in an arm cycle. You can use it for ankles also. You can prop it on a desk or table for arms or sit and or sit and watch tv while using it for ankles. They weren't super pricey only about $45 on amazon. Ask the doctor to make sure…
  • poached egg on two slices of low calorie toast, or oatmeal with 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and bananas. Before breakfast I have a 16 ounce coffee made with 2 glasses of skim milk and 3 tablespoons of my favorite creamer at the moment.
  • Are you both losing weight together? You guys look great. I see you are starting to get a six pack. Well done.
