  • 30 day is tough I can see how it would be hard to do both. I'm doing zumba but I'm only doing a partial workout untill I get through this. I'm in pretty decent shape in my legs but my core neds a lot of work.
  • It's a gradual program you work your way up. It's a 6 week program but if you're in good shape you can skip ahead and it doesn't take as long. If you're in bad shape you can do weeks over if you need to. It's set up to do it 3 days a week plus an exhaustion test day.
  • That's awesome! You can tell your grand kids they have a tough grandma!
  • Nope join in whenever you like

  • Read the 1st line of the bolded text. I am telling you THAT line is incorrect. the idea did NOT for the 3rd time originate with Christians.
  • join two people together = monogamy You said : " You said it was created to join people together for the rest of their lives. That was originally a Christian view." No it wasn't. The Christians were not the 1st or even the 2nd ones to hold it.
  • Christians didn't invent monogamy, nor did Jews.
  • Yes marriage was created to join two people as long as they both lived. Was for breeding purposes? Maybe, maybe not it certainly became that way but either way it wasn't created with multiple partners in mind. If marriage can mean whatever we want it to mean then what is the point of having marriages? I mean really....what…
  • I'm not sure why you're bringing up god in reference to the marriage certificate. I did not mention God in reference to marriage.
  • Well IMO discussions like this are bound to get heated because one persons idea of what commitment and/or marriage are supposed to be are so different from the next ones. I can get on board with the fact you can be committed to a relationship with or without marriage. I can even say if you or Sue or Joe want to have an…
  • You're coming off like a bit of a hypocrite.... no offense but you're mad people don't seem to think you can be committed doing it your way and you turn around and pretty much say they are less committed not doing it your way. Sooo they can't criticize your life choices but you can criticize theirs? A wedding does not…
  • Not carry CAN carry and incidentally almonds can carry it too although peanuts are more likely to.
  • OMG!!! double whammie I feel for you...truly.
  • And men don't? . "Here you bust your butt right along with me and then I get to be the boss" Or how about when they both work but SHE does all the housework...hmmmm? Nu uh I don't think so.
  • Wow it sounds like quitting smoking. My best suggestions are eat filling foods. Drink lots of water and when you start obessing about food if you don't feel hungry find something to do. Work, exercise do something that entertains you.... if you are actually hungry and you don't have the room to eat drink some water.
  • X2 but the basic gist of it is you should be eating about 80% of your TDEE for weight loss.... ie eating at a 20% deficit. I think if you are in the obese to morbidly obese range ( I hate those terms by the way) you can do 30% untill you get close to the over weight range. I would go to that link though because as I…
  • This is pretty much my take on it but each to their own I don't tell other people who they should live it just doesn't make sense to me. However I'm curious why you're asking because you seem to already have your mind made up.
  • I know where you're coming from I'm going through that same thing right now. What my sweetie told me was this. "I love that you're getting in shape and I love the way you used to look, but I love you just the way you are too" Maybe he was just trying to be nice. Maybe it was his way of saying he doesn't love me for how I…
  • You'd be surprised. Every now and then I have to recalculate (change what I'm going to eat) to keep from going over but most of the time I have to work at not being under. Oatmeal and raisins with a little full fat or 2% milk will give a good jump. I eat a piece of toast with 2 tlbs of cream cheese, bananas have a pretty…
  • My ex started wanting to get into that.... matter of fact he sort of tried it without me when I wouldn't go for it. Hence him being my ex. My take on it is it would be more challenging than a monogamous one. You'd both need to be very secure in your relationship. It's not something I want I want one person to be my life…
  • According to my mother (the family genealogist its almost an obsession for her) we're descendants of Prince John of the Plantagenet Dynasty. It would explain why we are so bossy ! If there was anyone else famous I have forgotten who they were. One branch of the family's sir name was Lee but she traced it back and…
  • Pick up some weights for home maybe check craigslist, resistance bands or a suspension trainer. If you can't buy anything get some light dumbbells and do squats, also do pushups, pull ups (if you can), situps. Those are the things that come to mind for me. Others may have better suggestions.
  • Ha! if I used my porn name as my profile name it would definitely give the wrong impression.
  • Doesn't this one win it for you? (I don't have a measuring tape to measure mine but I'm sure at least my thighs are bigger) It's a guy most of the way down page 1
  • Good idea thanks. I thought that was waay unrealistic. I lost something though my jeans are looser...yea! ETA... They're looser than the week I started anyway. I didn't wear this pair last week.
  • I don't have any way to get out today and I don't belong to a gym. I'm working insane hours this week. I'll check it again later and then maybe I can squeeze it in this week but shoot its hard enough to fit in my workouts.
  • That's a good idea but it would be awhile before I got the chance to do that.
