When I plan on drinking wine at night, I do about double the exercise I would normally do....at least that's my plan! However, I just count it as regular calories and as long as I stay under my allowed calories, I keep losing weight.

That is awesome! You rock!
-
I recommend this as well!

You can add me too!

Actually you can. A radio station in Seattle had a "Hold your wee for a Wii" contest a few years ago and a mother of 3 died from drinking too much water. http://seattletimes.com/html/nationworld/2003529990_water18.html

I was born in Belgium and lived there till I was 14, I'm fluent in a few languages but don't have an accent when I speak English. People think I'm from the Midwest, even though I've never lived there. My favorite thing to do when people refuse to speak English to me is respond to them in Flemish.

So your plan worked, you managed to alienate the entire female population on MFP. You're a genius!

I'm a dad too and working hard at getting healthy and in shape so I can be here to see my daughters grow up. Feel free to add me.

I actually like my planet fitness. Compared to all the higher priced gyms I joined before, this one is the cleanest by far. I don't care if you're a germaphobe or complete slob, it's nice to see the staff wipe down all the equipment and free weights every chance they get. I could care less about the colors of the place,…

I think you and your husband are both being passive aggressive and not communicating. Obviously you want to lose weight and eat healthy...he on the other hand only wants his lifestyle and eating habits stay the same. You both have a right to do this...but you don't have to do it together. I don't see how he should change…

I agree! You hear it all the time, might as well eat that pizza, cheeseburger, etc...we're all going to die. Might as well die happy. It's their choice...honestly, a lot of those foods are starting to lose their sparkle. I love my low calorie dishes I'm discovering. I feel myself not wanting that brownie....tell them they…

Added you...anyone wanting to add me, feel free. The more the merrier

Nothing is more lonely than being in a dead relationship. The best valentines day was the one after my 15 year marriage was over and I was free! Alone, but free and movin on!

Thanks for the link. Something to work towards

We have spaghetti bolognese here in the US, any Italian restaurant has it. Anyone with Italian heritage knows what it is and can probably make it. It's sinfully delicious.
-
Lol. thats what we boys wish. You're moving into dangerous territory! Lol

I'd be glad to help out. I'm new here too and I agree. It's so easy to get derailed with food and get discouraged at the gym.
-
You can add me, I need some friends too who will keep me in line

Isn't it amazing that the reasons we keep from getting in shape are caused by not being in shape. It's like vicious circle...I can't get in shape because everything hurts, everything hurts cause I'm out of shape. Way to go fighting through that. That must have been really tough. Congratulations

I grew up loving cauliflower, still do. I don't use it to substitute for anything. I steam it and put a cheesy bechamel sauce over it and serve it with cooked potatoes and bratwurst with a thick gravy. Mash it all together and enjoy all 2000 calories of this delicious dish (ok, maybe you have to be Belgian to know this is…

I got diagnosed too...I wasn't a big snorer, except when I had been drinking alcohol, however, turns out this stuff is real and it really helped being on the CPAP machine. I realized the constant interruption of my sleep prevented me not only from going into deep sleep, but also from dreaming. The first weeks I was on the…
