Hey- I'm one of those people that got chunky right around my teen years and it got worse once I got married and got comfortable. I don't diet, that's an icky word and something you won't stick to. I eat what I want but stay under my calorie goal, could I eat better, yes, but for now it's a start. I also started c25k…

I've just started Week 6 of the routine. My foods consist of bagels, cereal, sandwiches, fruit, veggies. I've just started. I lost weight last year eating similar foods and using DVD workouts.
-
I am currently on the Couch 2 5k plan, running/walking every other day and staying under my calorie limit. I have not lost any weight, actually I've gained a little. Is this normal?
-
I've started C25K multiple times and always quit at week 3. This time I started and am determined to finish. I run every other day and I'm currently on Week 4, day 2 tonight! I felt quite accomplished when I could run that 3 minutes straight. It's not easy, but man do I feel good when it's over.
-
Congrats! I'm on week 3 day one today, it's going to be a little different because it's pouring rain outside so I'll have to do it on a treadmill.
-
I have never been a morning person ever and today I got up early to get in my run because I knew I wouldn't have time to do it later tonight..Getting out of bed was the hardest part, but I'm glad I did.

Some people are just starting out and can't cut cold turkey.... doesn't mean they're not serious about their health just takes time to wean off old habits.

I have EA Sports 2 for the Xbox kinect. I love it, helped me lose 24 pounds in 16 weeks. Really works your body and changes things up so you don't plateau.
-
I have the kinect. I love it, works really well with one person, two people and it doesn't like to pick up the second person. I bought the EA Sports Active 2 and lost 25 pounds doing the 16 week program. Wii is a workout too, but the kinect is nice because you don't need controllers.
