Application in - hoping I get to join again!
-
Hello! I'm due July 9th with baby #1. I've gained about 7lbs already, which makes me nervous because I want to keep it around 25-30lbs total gain. To that end I need to be strict about tracking my food (which I haven't been for months) and doing light exercise. I could definitely use some accountability from this group!

Wait listed again?? :(
-
Hooray! I'm really excited to (hopefully) join this term.
-
I'll join in on the 29th!

Hey! I'm a second year resident in internal medicine. I don't always make the best food choices and I still struggle to fit in exercise even though it is a priority. But I've made a lot of progress this year compared to my intern year. I guess I was just tired of feeling like crap all the time.

I like to make my shorter term goals something positive and measurable. Like instead of "Avoid sugar" I'll say "Eat 7 servings of vegetables."
-
Typically I don't double up and just workout sic days each week. But this week was a little crazy so I doubled up with ab intervals (the least brutal).
-
Purpose, you might try looking at some of the clean eating groups on MFP or checking out the BeachBody page. How is your week 1 going of T25?
-
Hey! I missed a few days but am back now to day 4 of week 1. I might actually double up ab intervals and lower focus today to catch up. We are planning to take the discs with us on vacation next week!
-
Cynpin, I'm going on vacation in about a week and waffle between taking the discs and not. I'd feel better if I exercised, but I don't get a real vacation very often! Welcome Ashlea! Hope you had a rockin day 1. Purpose, I'm not really sure. I log them as cross-training in my Jawbone. All right! Day 2, Speed 1.0 complete!
-
All right! T25 Alpha Cardio done. Week 1, Day 1. Felt pretty good. How is everyone else doing?
-
Hoping to start tomorrow but may have to push it back to Wednesday depending on work. But I'll keep checking in. Great job everyone that has started already!
-
We are also going out of town for five days in June for vacation. I'm still debating whether I'll just repeat that week or if I'll take the program with me. We'll be staying with family and I'll have some time everyday where I could workout. Plus it will make me feel better about all the food and wine!
-
Looking forward to starting this! I may start on 5/31 because I have to work pretty late on 6/1 so I may not be able to get it in.
-
I log my activities in my Jawbone Up app, so unfortunately I don't know for sure. I usually log them as cross-training or cardio depending on the workout.

I decided to try T25 after reading this blog post, which is a really honest and motivating "Real Result." I don't know the author but I can identify with a lot of things she has said. And her description of the program seems realistic and not like she's trying to sell something. Anyway, I thought other people might find a…

Ditto on Ebay. You can find them for much less. It seems like lots of people bought the program with good intentions and then barely used the program.
-
Hey! I'm in! I've been doing the workouts here and then for a few weeks but haven't been able to dedicate to the program for work reasons. Yeah, I know it's only 25 minutes but then there's also the buffer needed for eating (for me I need at least an hour after eating before I do the workout, then another 30min cool down…

Hey! I'm technically on week 2 but I've missed some days. Yes, I have 25 minutes in my day to work out but life got a little crazy the past two weeks and I only managed a few workouts. I'm restarting my commitment (and week 2) today!

Biology/science, dinosaurs, robots, Harry Potter.
-
Mayhaps! What will the challenges be like?

Finished Ripped in 30 yesterday! Yay! My weight stayed stable but I definitely gained a lot of muscle. Moves that were impossible at the beginning are no big deal now. I definitely recommend it, but I'd also recommend doing 30DS first to prepare! Now I'm gearing up to start Six Week Six Pack on 4/28. Got to get ready for…

Hey everyone! Just switched from FitBit to Jawbone and I love it! I'm 32 and a resident physician. My job can vary from active to very sedentary depending on where I'm working in the hospital. My goal is to maintain health and strength so I can care for my family, my self, and my patients. Add me if you are interested in…

Just started week 3 today and it is TOUGH. But... does she miss 30 seconds of strength in circuit 1? We did the chair squat with high-low rows only once. Or was I supposed to do that for a full minute?
-
Agreed that it is so hard to stay hydrated! And then sometimes I think I eat when I'm actually thirsty. I try to keep a water bottle by the computer where I do my notes, but I imagine as a RT you're probably all over the hospital all the time.

Hey! I'm 32 and 5'4" and right now at 137 with a goal weight of 130 (started at 149 back in the fall). In 2007 I was in the same boat and made it down to 122 but I was younger and that was really hard. Then I started med school and the weight came back because I did a lot of stress eating and sitting on my butt studying. I…

Hey! I actually started doing this in January but wasn't really active on MFP then. I'm not using all the videos, but I am using most of them (30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, 6 Week 6 Pack, Shred It With Weights, Extreme Shed and Shred, Kickbox FastFix, Yoga Inferno, and Yoga Meltdown). My schedule/plan is below. My job can be…

I'm definitely noticing more definition in my upper body from Ripped in 30. Started week 2 on Wednesday - I'm giving myself ten days for each week, so if I miss one or two days I still get 7 days at each level. Week 2 is also funny, Jillian is in a feisty mood!
-
Hey! Today is my last day of 30-Day Shred! I'm going to take a week "off" and do Jillian's Yoga Melt Down, then start Ripped in 30. I usually give myself two weeks for each level because my work schedule makes it hard to work out every single night.
