So many things - I have refused to keep buying bigger sizes so at this point I have only a handful of things that actually fit me. Jeans - comfy, low rise Bras and underwear Dresses - including at least one LBD Pants with zippers and buttons instead of just elastic :-/

It's definitely happened to me. If I notice I'm over by mid-day, I plan for a very light dinner - egg whites with veggies, or a salad.

First let me say that I save Chipotle for a special treat. I usually get a burrito bowl with: White rice Black beans Chicken Mild salsa Medium Salsa Cheese YUM!!!

I agree that you should get it checked by your doctor before taking a supplement. I had a deficiency and was on a prescription dose for 8 weeks. I now take a D3 supplement daily of 1000 units.

Amazing!!! Congratulations on achieving your goal!! What an inspiration!

You're an 18 year old male. Get back to me when you're a 45 year old woman.

This is me too. I'm just starting my journey to lose the weight, but a big problem (no pun intended) has been that I still see myself as a size 10, when in reality I'm pushing a size 20. Only in photos do I see a BIG girl. I've started putting unflattering photos on my mirror as motivation.

You look very healthy. Not "Ew" at all. Your family is nuts.

1. Not being able to shop in normal stores. 2. Being afraid of not fitting on rides at amusement parks with my kids. 3. Not being able to wear sleeveless tops in the summer. 4. Not having enough energy to play a full game of tennis with my daughter. 5. Feeling out of control around food. 6. Having nothing to wear in my own…

I had a fasting glucose level of 105 for two years and my doctor said it was not yet in the pre-diabetes range at that time. Now I'm at 120 and officially pre-diabetic. 126 is considered diabetic. I've not seen anything saying 120 is diabetic, as a previous poster stated. Generally 100-125 is prediabetic, and above that is…

WOW! You are amazing! My starting weight and goal are very close to yours and I'm 43. I do not want to be still fighting this battle into my 50s. I love seeing what is possible with patience, persistence and hard work. So impressive!

Don't weigh yourself every day, and on don't drink alcohol or have high sodium foods the night before a weigh-in. I make sure to never eat Chinese food before a weigh in day because the scale is always up at least 2 lbs.

What a wonderful, inspiring story. Congratulations on turning your life around!
-
Wow! Such a huge difference in your face! Beautiful :)

I'm 43 and struggling to lose around 70 pounds. It seems impossible sometimes, but I swear I WILL get there!

Splenda and skim milk. At least two cups per day. I will not give it up, ever.

Increase your calories. You won't stick to it if you're starving all the time. And your body needs the energy. I aim for between 1200 and 1400 per day, but some people will tell you even that is too low. Good luck!

You need some protein! I like to graze throughout the day, so I bring cucumbers, carrot sticks, hummus, Kind bars, hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks or Light Baby Bel cheese, trail mix, or Greek yogurt. NOT all on the same day. lol This lets me have a healthy snack 2-3 times over the course of my 8 hour day and keeps me…

Great job! Keep it up :)

Dump him, Be single, and do what makes YOU happy. You will not be successful if you try to lose the weight for someone else. Also, he's an *kitten* and doesn't deserve you.

I'm trying to lose around 65 lbs. I have a physical in September and want to see how much I can lose by then. I saw my doctor this week and got the "talk" about diabetes, stroke risk, etc. Time to turn this ship around ;)
-
Yep, I'm struggling. It's just a habit, you know, so it's 6pm, I must have a drink. Ugh. I know tomorrow will be easier though.
-
Perfect timing for this group. Finished up a box of wine Monday night, so making a fresh start this week. I truly believe giving up the booze will give a swift kick in the rear to my weight loss efforts. Good luck to us all!

I'll join, but someone will have to give me details instructions on how to post a photo of my scale. I'm photo in post challenged.

Getting started is the hardest part. After a few days of making just one small change, you will start to feel different - more confident, more in control, more energy, maybe sleeping a bit better. And you will want to continue to feel that way. Get through one day of making one small change and build on that. You can do…

You're beautiful! Congratulations on your success :)

WOW! You look fabulous!

What a way to start this challenge! My boss just informed me that my job will be eliminated effective January 1!!! Definitely will want a drink tonight :(

Day 1 for me! Hoping I can make it all the way to Halloween :)
