I eat a protein bar as a meal, and with 20g of protein and 200 calories, it keeps me full for several hours.

It's ok. I still do too, sometimes. Just not every day. Every one has flaws and breaks down once in a while. We're human. Get up, dust off, and try again.

I would definitely continue lifting up until your surgery date. I had surgery 4 weeks ago, and followed my own advice. I'm back in the gym this weekend (can't wait!). I know I won't be where I was before surgery, but I will get there. Good luck to you!

I have the Versa Lite and I like it a lot. It syncs fine with my iphone xr, and with MFP. My old Garmin was not syncing with MFP anymore.

I was around 230 in the first pic, and 145 in the second. I've gained 10 lbs this summer and am desperately trying to get it back off. I'm 5'4" and 49 years old.

I had several people tell me that I inspired them to make healthier decisions. That really made me feel great!

Congratulations! You must feel amazing! And you look fantastic!!!

You are stunning!!

I weigh myself every morning. The batteries on scale went out and I had no scale for two weeks (weird battery type that I could not easily find), and I gained 5 lbs in that time!! I need the scale to stay accountable. Obviously this approach is not for everyone.

You really look great! No flabby skin!

Ignore the haters. I'm 5'4" and my original goal weight was 147, since that's what I'd been able to maintain at in my late 20s. I've now lowered it to 135. I'm currently 143 and still have a nice size belly. Everyone and every body is different. I'm 48 years old, and maybe it's because I have less muscle tone than when I…

Definitely possible. I lost the first 40 or 50 lbs without exercising. However, once I got in the habit, I LOVE my workouts.

Good luck!!

It's possible. I'm 48. My highest weight was 230. I'm now 141, at 5'4". You have to find what works for you. I tried and failed about a billion times before I found a plan I can stick with forever. For me, that's lower carb and sugar, higher protein, and no forbidden foods. I drink wine, I eat pizza, and I refuse to eat…

Today I put frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot, with salsa, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, and a little salt. Will cook on low for 8 hours, then shred the chicken with two forks. Eat it alone with a little shredded cheese and extra salsa, or over rice, or wrapped in a tortilla. So…

I'm at this point too. I love my wine, but I'm trying to lose the last 10 pounds after having lost around 80 already. I'm limiting myself to weekends only, and no more than 3 drinks per night. For me, it's not so much the alcohol and the munchies that go along with it. The wine is so much better when you have the cheese…

Amazing! You deserve to be proud of yourself!!!

Damn! You look amazing! Great job!!

Amazing! Way to go!!

I lost the first 30 pounds by diet alone, and it came off quickly. Once I started exercising I had more energy, slept better, and was more motivated to eat better to fuel my workouts. I also started out slow - just talking walks, then doing cardio only at the gym, on the eliptical mostly. I didn't start weights until I was…

Hmmmm. Now I'm thinking she wants me to have a cushion before I start maintenance, which makes sense. Thanks everyone!

I've lost 85 lbs and they'll have to pry my wine glass out of my cold, dead hands.

Holy. Moly. Great job!!

You're amazing! So beautiful and so inspiring! Great job!!!!

Hi there! I’m 5’4” and have lost 85 pounds over the last 14 months. I started at 230 and am hovering around 145 now. I’m 48 years old and started and failed about 90,000 times before finding success this time. My advice is to focus more on diet than exercise. I didn’t exercise at all for the first 50 pounds. Diet wise, do…

It's not sustainable.

I love my Garmin vivofit HR. Tracks steps, calories, heartrate, workouts, sleep, and stairs climbed. Only needs to charge every 4-5 days. Love the app. Much better than FitBit.

I'm struggling to find my goal weight as well. I'm 5'4" and started at 230. My original goal was my pre-pregnancy weight of 172. I hit that and am at 147 now. I feel great, and clothes fit great, but I definitely have a good amount of fat around the middle. I'm thinking another 5 pounds would be good, but I don't want to…

I'm 'low carb' and average around 100 grams per day. Any lower than that and I want to eat my own arm.

Hottie!!
