This is a perfect challenge for me! When I drink I always end up snacking on junk food too. I love my wine, but know I need to take an extended break to get a boost in my weight loss. Count me in!

I'm on week 8! I can't believe I've made it this far! I jog really, really slowly, but at least I'm moving. I focus more on time than distance at this point. I'm "running" for 28 minutes without stopping! So crazy. I remember week 1 and counting down the seconds until the run segments were over. Now when my run is over I…

Better to be skinny fat than fat fat.

Good for you!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That is such a great goal to achieve!! Hope to join you there soon ;)

Yes! It's better than nothing! Hopefully he'll start feeling energized and gradually increase his time. I would be happy and encouraging so he keeps with it. Do you walk with him? Maybe if you do it together he'll go further.

I lost weight on WW a few years ago. It does work as long as you stick to the program. After about a 20 lb loss however, I thought I could do it on my own and ended up gaining it all back plus some. As with MFP it is a lifestyle change and you have to accept that you will have to follow the program forever to be successful…

HOORAY!!!!!! Great job! Can't wait to join you there ;)

REST. A little soreness is good. Not being able to sit on the toilet is your body telling you to take a day or two off.

You're not too heavy. I weigh more than you, and am only 5'4" and I'm on week 3 of C25K. Just go very slowly and make sure to take at least one day of rest between runs. If you feel any twinges in your knees or ankles take more days off until you are fully recovered. Repeat days/weeks as needed. I did week one 2.5 times…

You seriously look at least 15 years younger! Great work!

Finished W2D1 this morning and loved it! I noticed I'm getting faster even though I'm not even trying. Maybe because the first week I was barely jogging any faster than I was walking. LOL My goal is to be patient with myself and avoid injury! I've started C25K 2 or 3 times before but had to quit by around week 7 each time…

Congratulations!! You look great!

I tried to cut back on wine but I always wanted more than one glass when I would indulge. For me, the only solution has been to cut it out completely. It hasn't even been that hard, which has been surprising! I'm not going to say I'll never drink again, because for me that is totally unrealistic. But, I plan to limit it to…

Congratulations!!! Keep up the great work!

Did my best time ever on my C25K walk/run. Didn't drink any alcohol in the past 10 days. No knee pain when walking up and down stairs. I feel so good! Why did I wait so long to do this?

Same here. I don't log every day activity though, like walking the dog or cleaning.

I love your attitude! You are beautiful now, and then!

Hottie!! :)

Holy moly! You look amazing! Great work!!!

Wow! What a difference in your legs!!!

That is awesome! Great work :)

This is me too. I like to see a loss for at least two days in a row before I log it in.

I eat the same breakfast and lunch almost every day. On weekends I tend to be more spontaneous. It is easy for me, in the sense that I don't have to think about what I'm going to eat for those meals. It's automatic. For breakfast I usually have fruit and cottage cheese or yogurt, and for lunch grilled breast with black…

I'm 5'4" and my ideal weight is 147 (size 8 or 10). I don't think I can successfully maintain any lower than that and still be a happy person ;) I'm also one of those people who carries weight well. Everyone including my doctors are always surprised at my actual weight. I credit my muscley thighs  The lowest I've…

That is awesome! You look great! Can I ask how tall you are and how long it took to get where you are now?

Honestly, I have cut back on a lot of things, but I refuse to tell myself that any food is off limits forever. I've cut way back on wine, bread, and all kinds of junk food. For me though, the minute I feel like I can never have something again, I want it more than ever.
