bump...til I finish heating myself up. ;)

I eat oatmeal nearly every day, and not the instant crap. I don't understand why people use the instant stuff, anyway. It only saves you like six or seven minutes of preparation time. I mix it with yogurt and honey; peanut butter; or cinnamon and honey.
-
I'm doing the same thing, despite my 23 initial test.
-
Ok, I did 23. Level 3. 'bout what I expected. Looking forward to this.
-
*sigh* I used to be able to do nearly 200 pushups in 2 minutes, when I was in the Army. I'm guessing I'll be at about a tenth of that now. But, I'm up for the challenge.

Personally, I hope it's never un-PC to say something like that. Obesity should never become an accepted lifestyle, or attribute. Should it be un-PC to call out a meth-head? A thief? A country singer ;)? These are all poor decisions people have made, knowing the consequences. To poke fun at people who have made these…

I'm 213.
-
This is hard because I have no idea how tall you are. I'll go with 220, you look pretty strong.
-
I don't think I'd live anywhere. I'd be nomadic, seeing as much of the world as I could. ;) @fallenangel--where'd you get those peepers? ;)
-
Nice. I hate the Sox, too. I lived across Lake Michigan from Chicago as a kid, and WGN made me a Cubs fan, Bud man! Well, not so much the Bud man till later. ;)
-
Indeed I am, especially since my Broncos are looking great. :) @jamiem--If you were stranded in extreme weather with adequate supplies, would you rather it be the Sahara desert in the summer or Siberia in the winter, and why?
-
hmm, my favorite thing to do...pretty much anything having to do with football. Playing football, watching football, going to football games, tailgating. :) @move--are you a Cubs, Bears, Bulls fan?
-
Also...you meant 25, not 35, right?
-
It's great...and thanks. Been here for 6 months or so, and it's been between 75 and 85 degrees virtually every day. Perfect. :) Makes it a little easier to get out and exercise. How's Texas? I've been to 40 of the states, and all the ones around Texas, but never made it there for some reason.
-
I'd like to be, but I still weigh a bit much and it's hard on my knees and back. I ran a lot when I was in the Army, and I miss it. ;) @namaste You have a sleeve on the arm not shown in your profile pic?
-
I can't speak for other dudes, but I find it more comfortable and prefer it aesthetically. @printUSMC What made you pick the Corps as opposed to one of the other services?
-
@maidofmer Why do so many people want to live in California?
-
So Hot!
-
Nice bro! Strange how I don't remember your face being so damn fat back then, since I see you everyday.
-
thanks. It's almost back to normal, now. I'll be back to walking tomorrow. ;)
-
I've got a gout attack going on at the moment, so my first couple days will be derailed, since I can barely walk. :( I'm hoping that this is one of the health problems that clears up once I lose all the weight...we'll see.

Plus...I haven't paid for a haircut in seven years.... I just use hair clippers with no attachment, bout every ten days. I'm usually wearing a ball cap, though. Not cause I'm ashamed of the bald head--I always hated my hair growing up, anyway--I like the way I look better with a cap.

Also, you'd really be better off doing 35 minutes of one of those cardio exercises you mentioned, than splitting up the minutes between the three. Then you can change which one you do on your next cardio day.
-
Two straight months with no missed days...Awesome! Well done.
-
You did great! Thanks for sticking with the challenge.

November challenge is up: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/785060-24-hours-of-cardio-in-november-challenge Still a little too soon for me to do much jogging. I incorporated a bit into my walks on the 29th and 30th, and today my knees were killing me. I'll try again periodically, but it probably won't be two days in…

Fructose never set off a gall stone attack for me. Maybe it's different for other people...I don't know. Spicy foods did not bother me, either, and I know it is a trigger for some people's gall bladder. I ate plenty of fruit when I was dealing with gall stones. Low fat was the only thing that kept them at bay.
-
Fats are what set off gall stone attacks. Sometimes spicy food, as well. That is why she is going low fat.
-
My liver enzymes were high due to gallstones also, but only when I had the attack that sent me to the ER. Prior to that, my enzymes were normal (or at least not notably high). The reason they were high when I went in was because a stone was blocking a bile duct. I had known that I had gallstones for several months, but…
