Yeah, you're fine. I've lost 15, 9, and 10 in my first three months. I had more to lose than you do, but your first month will a usually be higher than normal.

I'm very fortunate in this regard. I have three brothers who have all lost more weight than I have, my best friend is a personal trainer and nurse, and my mother asks me how much I've lost every time we speak on the phone. All my other friends are stoked for me as well. Sorry that you have to go through that. However,…

Sorry I haven't been updating. Been struggling with my motivation ever since I hurt my calf. Trying to finish the month out strong, now.

Calf felt pretty good today. Maybe 90% of normal.

Had to stay off my calf muscle for a few days which was disappointing. It's still not 100%, but its much better than it was. Gonna keep the walks relatively short for the next week.

Back on pace for mileage, but I might have to take a couple days off. Think I have some kind of overuse injury in my left calf muscle. It's fine when I'm warmed up and walking, but after I teak a break from my workout, within fifteen minutes I can barely walk on it until I get it warmed up again.

A little something? Heh. In a month and a half now, I think you only have one day where you didn't do at least a half hour....and you did 20 minutes on that one day. That is how you do it! Well done.

You all are doing FANTASTIC! Keep it up! At the halfway point, I'm way ahead of my hourly goal, but a little behind on the miles. Not much behind; only about 5 miles. I'll make it up in the second half for sure. :)

Ironman Triathlon was in town today. Got a few pics that I'll put in my profile when I get a chance. Got to see some of the first finishers cross the line. As I was passing the finish line, the commentator announced some dude as having finished the Ironman for 29 consecutive years. THAT is a badass. Anyway, in honor of all…

I use honey or maple syrup in my plain yogurt, as I simply can't stand the taste of the yogurt on its own. Occasionally, I'll add it to my oatmeal, also. Other than that, all my sugars are from fruit. I've never had much of a sweet tooth, though. My problem was always burgers, fries, chips, etc.
